MC 2.0 doses?

I'm just starting my run with the new MC 2.0 gonna keep it the same grams per gallon along with 1/4 tsp SC. I also will be using the kelp 1/2 tsp per five gallon doing both hand feeding and foliar during veg. The current run that's finishing I started using the kelp instead of feeding MC everyday I rotated between the 2 with decent results so far
I bought a brand new 3 gal water jug the other day. It is obviously the cleanest it will ever be. However, I made up a 3 gal jug of MC 2 version and that stuff is WAY Cleaner than Version 1. I could probably run it in my Drip stakes, as the pH holds better so far. That is my goal, to try it with my Drip Stakes. Version 1 left a residue and pH Rose rapidly. Not ideal for me or the plants, but Version 2 seems like it will work better for automated systems? It is stronger than Version 1. I have not done a plant to finish yet, but I don't add as much Calmag. It has promise to be better than version 1, we just need to do minor adjustments.

Im just finishing up week 2 with just straight MC 2.0. Plants are loving it so far. I ran week one around 35% of full strength and week 2 at 50% nute strength or 3g/gal. This is also in a flood and drain so my ladies are drinking this directly. Im going to bump them up to to %60 this week. I dont know why people keep adding all this extra stuff to it. Im using it for simplicity. Why over complicate it. If something needs supplemented you will find out. But I dont think its going to be fair to green leaf if we dont get a base grow to compare to.

I'm using the GL Kelp and SC only this run no other additives and the kelp is used solo

Nice. Yea. Mega Crop already has kelp in it and Ive never messed with it so Ill leave the amounts up to the experts lol. My only worry is the calmag. I will be really impressed if I dont have to supplement it this grow. But Im going to give them a chamce to live up to their claim.

My experiment with the kelp I was really impressed. I was growing 21 plants last run I never went over 20 grams per 5 gallon feeding. I fed 5 gal MC and 5 gal kelp every feeding by doing that I cut my MC use in 1/2 talk about saving nutes, I went from 280 grams a week to 140 grams per week with great results. Plus I didnt feed them MC but 2 or 3 times the 1st 30 days if my memory is correct fed kelp more. Stopped foliar when preflower started and increase MC

You folks adding extra stuff to MC 2.0...noticing any difference? I’m at 4gms/gal and in soil. Flowering now too. Itching to try by MC bud explosion but MC 2.0 is supposed to have it all??

That's just what we was talking about. A lot of people are still adding things. Im attempting to run it on its own. Atleast until I notice unfavorable results.

Thanks man. I’m slow this morning!

Same here too. Hope MC 2.0 is all they say it is. No signs of issues yet for me.

I'm looking forward to running this more simple with my AutoPots and autoflowers.
Right now I got hit hard with a Calmag deficiency since I have Photos in hydroponics under LED's and T5HO's for vegging. I had to add in my usual dose of Calmag as I have done with all other nutrient lines so I'm not disappointed nor surprised. Beyond that the plants are really loving it, but I am a tinkerer and can't leave stuff alone so I have some fulvic acid added to the mix, but I think I'll cut that out too for awhile. I'd love to not spend more money on nutrients, but I have a lot to finish up so it's easy to add stuff. I would like to run a side by side of my old, complicated regimen and this tho.

I have been watching threads with Auto's only running MC so I think the Auto's with needing less feed will tolerate it better. I will see in a couple weeks when my newly popped seedlings start requiring food.
I did order Sweet Candy to add to my healthy roots kick I'm on since having a run in with pythium.

Here's what I believe is the easiest way to use megacrop.
Equipment:
1. 1 gallon of known ppm water in a jug. Those distilled water grocery store jugs are perfect.
2. 0.1 gram accuracy scale.
3. Small container with a lid to hold a hundred grams or so MC.
4. Simple calculator to compute amount of MC needed.
5. Measuring spoon(s).
Preliminary, one-time measurements:
1. Add exactly 1.0 g MC to the 1 gal water, and mix well.
2. Measure MC ppm for future reference, by taking ppm with MC minus ppm of water. For me, it came out to be around 120 ppm.
Feeding:
1. Use the calculator to determine how many grams of megacrop are needed to make a known amount of the desired ppm nutrient.
For example, if we wanted 1/2 gal of 500 ppm nute, which is 250 ppm MC, then we'd use MC = (250 ppm)*(1 g MC)/(120 ppm) = 2.1 g, or putting it more simply, divide the desired ppm by 120.
3. Put the jar of MC on the scale, zero the scale, and then remove enough MC with a measuring spoon until the scale reads (negative number) the amount that we want to use. In this example that's -2.1 g.
4. Mix and use.

I'm still using the old version, and completed a successful DWC grow using only MC and nothing else whatsoever, except pH Up/Dn and clorox.
My only complaint is that the autos got much bigger than expected, and I should've topped them.
I never went above 450 ppm, then down to about 250 ppm near harvest, and the plants had no deficiencies.
