For 1 liter of a 0.5 % dilution of neem plant spray:

5ml Neem Oil (1 teaspoon)
1-2ml insecticidal soap or natural liquid hand soap
1 liter water (roughly a quart)

Mix Neem oil with warm water first then add the rest of the ingredients.
Foliar spray as normal. Cover the leaves, top and bottom. When the lights are about to come on or before they go off.

IMPORTANT
Spray once and wait a week. That's right; a whole week. Neem is subtle and takes time. If there is an insect issue then spray again. That should do it. Them bugs and 100 other things that could happen are dead. Spray every two weeks after that as a preventative. Normally a three week cycle of sprays will last the plants life time.

I found some in my hubbabubbasmelloscope today. Pisses me off.

Did a neem oil foliar spray this AM. Girls seem to be okay by it A 0.5% solution is all I'll give them. Just wait and see. Neem oil always works. Takes time for the pests to go through their life cycle. Then it's all good.

Toofie Two curling leaf update. The curl is now going into the new growth.

Picture was taken one hour after the lights ON. Gave her a full feed of Technaflora RfS yesterday. Toofie One has wavy leaves, but not a heavy curl as on Toofie Two.

Superbox Temp: 78F (HIGH)- 68F (LOW)
Humidity: 45%-55%
Under 270w Blue CFL

I don't know what they'd say in the infirmary section or live help section. Wondering if it could be related to any gnat damage.

Checked the soil for gnats today with magnifying glass. Turned the soil around and saw no sign of gnats or larvae. Still gave them a spray of 0.5% Neem Oil spray yesterday. Gnat's life cycle is just over a week. The Neem application should hinder and stop any infestation that is there. Another foliar spray next week would disrupt any new larvae growth.

Mitch responded quickly as usual. He's seen this on the Sour Crack, but not on the Toof Decay. She's got a good green color and the new growth is lush and tight. When I uncurl the leaves the leaf has a nice green smell. Just going to let her do her thing and see what she brings. No need to panic. They have a LONG ways to go.

Day Seventeen from soil pop. Toofie Two still has the leaf curl. She is half the size of Toofie One. Toofie Two is compact and green. Lowered the girls from the cfls' and lowered the rooms A/C to 66F. This will bring the SuperBox inside temp to @ 76F. Toofie Two maybe sensitive too close to the lights and the lowered SuperBox temp. Backing off on the nutrient feed on her if not NO nutrients till she shows signs of needing them. The Roots Organic maybe a bit to hot for her. She's seems to be a sensitive young lady. I hope will help stop the leaf curl. The new growth leaf tips on Toofie Two have a leathery look, but no discolor. Toofie One is taking off. She is much taller and less bushy than her sister. A bit lighter in green, but still green and healthy. Letting the SmartPots dry out another day. Was giving them a water/feed every other day. Now two full days before wetting the soil. When I lift the SmartPots now they are much lighter in feel and the bottom of the S/P is dry also. A bit of over watering (not letting the soil dry out as much) and too close to the lights maybe the issue for Toofie Two. Is there any Kush genetics in the Toof Decay? Could be Kush curl. All in all they are healthy and green w/o any issues besides the leaf curl on Toofie Two.

Each girl is getting less than a 1/2 gallon of water. The pH IN today was 6.2 and the OUT was 6.4 (#2) and 6.3 (#1). All pH is within range. This was the 2nd irrigation of the girls after a RfS nutrient feed. Toffie #2 will be getting very little or NO nutrients next cycle. She's got the canoe/curl and now eliminating the possibilities. Too wet soil by not letting the SmartPots dry enough, lumen loopy and too much too soon nutrients. Toofie #1 is chugging along w/o any issues. NO PANIC, but still concerned and I need to get a fix on Toofie #2.

SuperBox inside temp is 72F-76F, RH is 46%-51% with lights ON. Cooler of course with lights OUT. RH is relatively the same. All conditions are good and well within range. Let's see how Toofie #2 responds.
