Right now, in my neck of the woods. We are in the middle of the "peak" of the trees changing color. There is still some of the trees are green, but there is lots of red, yellow and orange leaves. We haven't had a hard frost yet. Cold mornings, but no frost.
Chunky, although is being grown indoors is mimicking the seasons out side. Still has some green leaves, but she's yellowing up like the Aspen/Hemlocks in my back yard. Her colas are reddish brown with just a few white hairs. It's as if she were being grown outdoors, w/o the outdoor hassles.
The peak of the leaf color change will be around another week or two. Just when Chunky is ready to be harvested.
Trimmed the smaller popcorn buds from the bottom of the NL. She's got some nice fat buds on top. Every stem coming out of the main stem is a nice fat cola. Simple LSTing in the beginning of VEG paid off in the end.
Since this is a micro grow. I thought I'd show the size of the SuperBox. Not much room in there. Three gallon SmartPot is the largest size that can be used. I actually have grown two two gallon SmartPots in the SuperBox.
Two of the 13 large colas from Nirvana Northern Light
She's almost ready to harvest. Yellowing of the bud leaves is going well. Doing the "Muddy" method and letting all the bud leaves yellow up and then chop.
Trimmed off the yellow leaves. She's at Day 80 and she'll more than likely go past Day 84 (Week 12) before she's chopped down. Waiting for the larger bud fan leaves to yellow up. Today was the third series of a pre-harvest flush. I flush water on her now every other day.
Bud fan leaves still on the green side, but yellowing up.
