Trimmed the girls and chopped at their base. They're hanging in the armoire with a small humidifier. Winter dryness will dry these girls too fast. That's why I have the humidifier in there. Trying to keep the humidity in the 50% range. Slow drying can be an issue in the winter. They will be in the armoire for at least five to seven days. Then I'll give them a bud trim off the stems. Check the RH of the buds and then glass jar cure.

The first grow using the upgraded 400 W HPS. I'm impressed by the results.

She deserved to be there mate and looks like the work out into the stealth box has paid off beautiful plants on both counts ;)

You would be welcome here anytime pal, not sure how much longer i will be in Spain but got a good year or two yet to hit the lotto jackpot lol.

It took a Dremel cutting tool

to cut the main stems of the two girls. I have sharp garden shears

that didn't even put a dent in the stems.

The girls are now hanging whole in the Armoire. There is a small humidifier in the grow space. The humidifier has no RH control. Once it's on it's on. That is way too much for the small area. Bringing the inside RH up into the 80% range. I have the humidifier on a timer. It will come on once every hour for 15 minutes. This seems to keep the inside RH around 66%-70%. Winter is the hardest season to keep your bud from drying out too fast. I hope my little experiment will keep the buds from drying no less than 66%. The drying time may take a bit longer, however, I won't need to worry too much on them drying too fast. I'll post pictures of the set up tomorrow.

It's very quiet in the Den now. The Armoire is off and it's a little spooky not having a grow going.

So are you growing steel stemmed plants or what.

The drying set up of the S/H and DBC. The humidifier is set to go on 15 minutes every hour. The RH has been a high 66% RH to a low 48% RH. After 24 hours the RH is a constant 66%RH.

Sour Hound final dry weight is 27 grams. The buds are not trimmed as closely as some growers do. I like to have a little sugar leaves on them. I feel it protects the buds while curing. The buds have a nice golden brown color. The smell is strong and fruity. The buds vape very well and truly a great way to get the day going.

Deep Blue C final weight is 31 grams. Not trimmed as well. The sugar leaves are loaded with trichomes. This is one sticky strain. Just taking a bud out to vape will result in sticking to my fingertips like glue. Smells similar to the S/H but not as strong. Not as strong either in vape as the S/H. Nice buzz, more of a wake and bake than the stronger S/H.

The 1st grow under the HPS lighting was easy. I thought the yields would have been better. However, I have no complaints.

Planning soon on my next Mephisto Genetics grow. I will keep you all posted.
