Hey guys,
This is a thread of two parts really.
As I may have mentioned previously, we're looking to expand our little company
So one part leads to another going hand in hand, we need to grow our customer base,
We really believe we have a good product, good service and are a little different to a lot of companies out there.
We're looking to grow our social media base, and general awareness of the brand.
We have facebook and instagram, but with an already full plate of things to do conjoined with crappy internet here, it often gets neglected.
I realise it needs daily attention to succeed.
I appreciate not everyone has accounts there, and that's cool, but for those that do, if you're growing/have grown something from us and have a nice photo or two feel free to add them.
Or likewise if anyone is a member of another forum, and has the time to do a grow show those little things could go a long way.
We take every opportunity to draw people here to AFN, as we love this place, it's a fantastic resource for help and in my experience of forums has the friendliest vibe and most relaxed people,
but we know there's a lot of people on other forums that would be interested in what we do, but there's not enough time in a day, I'm struggling to keep up with my duties here on AFN.
I always have the feeling that there's so much more we could be doing!
We can offer free seeds/stickers as way of thanks to anyone that can help in some small way with any of the above.
So on to part two! - if we can do better with the above we will be looking to add several members to the team here.
In time there will be a variety of job roles available.. I don't wish disclose all the finer details here, but it could include any of the following.. Gardening, Processes, Packing, Design, Help with tradeshows.
We are looking for dedicated, pro-active, trust worthy people.
To be completely upfront, we can't offer high salaries initally, we've not paid ourselves yet, but things take time to sort out here.
it will likely be on an intern/trial basis for a few months and then if it's a good fit, we will figure it out to make both parties happy for the longterm.
But anyone we welcome in here, will definitely be looked after, we're neither slave drivers nor penny pinchers, but we have a business to run so can't afford too much lollygagging.
Anyway long story short, there's absolutely an opportunity to do very well indeed if our masterplan comes together.
Why are we asking/recruiting on the forum you may ask?
Well, once upon a time we ourselves were one dude from a forum and his friend, and someone gave us a chance.
Some may want an escape, a change, others an adventure, others a challenge, or a combination of all, we've been in your shoes.
I can't put any times on these things yet, it's going to have to be played by ear as and when things pan out. Just testing the water and it's very valuable to us to have candidates in mind.
But what would be very interesting to us is the following:
Someone known to us - grow diaries are a big positive!
Driving license is a big bonus
Good mental health (no offence )
Can be flexible.
Inside the EU would be much easier I think with no visas necessary. (I will clarify this)
Sorry any US comrades - but again if things go to plan there will certainly be opportunities with us on your side of the pond, in the not too distant future.
Anyone can email me a formal CV, or just write any relevant information that we can check out, We will reply to everyone.
And there's NO NEED to include any personal information Name or similar, that's not the point, and isn't at all necessary at this stage. But obviously anything sent to us will remain completely confidential.
