Day 39

I put one Mi5 and one SCH out on the balcony because I can't expand my grow room till Monday/Tuesday. I hope they like the sun, and morning breeze. If they do, the rest will be joining them. I bet the sunlight beats the CFLs, right? :smoke:

The only problem is, direct sunlight lasts for 3-4 hours on my balcony, the rest is shade

I would just put my plants in the sunlight 3-4 hours then supplement with cfl the other 16 or so hours. I think not utilizing sunlight especially if you live close to the equator is a mistake. Either way your ladies are looking healthy :smokebuds:

Well, that can happen as soon as I have the grow room ready :/ For now it can only take in the 4 out of 6 ladies. On another note, in the grow room the temps, RH, and light are static, and the girls like it. If I keep moving them outside every day, wouldn't that affect them? Wouldn't they have to adjust to the sudden change of environment? It might not be worth it for 3 hours of sunlight, that's the deal. Anyway, I will try with 2 of them for a few days and see how they do

I take my plants outside even if it only for an hour a day, they always look rejuvenated after. As for the temp change, my cab is normally 70-80 degrees and outside its around 90. My plant doesn't seem to mind although sometimes she needs to shower after sunbathing a few hours. Outside you do run the risk of an infestation of bugs though.

Interesting.. I have the bug problem covered I think, I sprayed my balcony yesterday with Karate bug killer. Thanks for the info man, I will update in a couple days with how the 2 ladies did outdoors :smoke:

Day 41

The 2 girls that spent the weekend outside on the balcony are doing fantastic. The rest of them joined them on the balcony earlier this morning screw you electricity bill

No pics for now as my cell phone got drunk on Saturday, hopefully it'll recover soon lol

Hey philipd, no, I don't have a camera or a cellphone with one yet. The girls are doing great btw, all 6 are filled with pistils and budding up Posting updates without pictures is strange haha
