I posted about my grow in a different thread, but I'd like to start a new specific one and keep it updated.

A little info about my past grows to help you people get in my shoes:P I've grown two seasons photo strains, Bubblegum and Big Bud, with relative success. Lots of experimenting though. Last year I managed to "screw" an auto, Angelmatic from MoC.

This season I got me 3xMI5s and 3xSCHs seeds. Potting soil from Ikea, lights 120w CFLs, soon to become 180w, on 20/4. I use bottled water which I have aerating for watering. I put in it some fresh lemon juice to make PH ~6 before watering. I try to keep the temperature ~22C with 50-55% RH, though temp drops around 16 when the lights go off.

11 days since they popped out of the soil:

The middle one, an MI5, is not doing well because I dropped it the other day and I had to replant it :P It's first set of true leaves are turned downwards and are quite larger than what you can tell from the pics, probably 3cm long, the second set seems to be growing normal though, so I'm still hoping :toke:

Anyway, here's what I have in mind for the future. I will get some more soil from Ikea, mix it with some perlite and tier them in the next few days. I got me Biobizz's Grow, Bloom, and Top-Max for nuts, along with Great White to help the roots. I haven't touched the nuts yet, I will wait for another week or so, maybe on the second watering after I tier them.

Do you think I'm doing something wrong? or even right? All advice is appreciated :amazon:

I've read a few threads that suggest using air pots or smart pots for better root development and feed intake, but there are no such things in my country, at least I haven't found any. But, I found these hand woven 10 liter pots. They have a plastic cover on the inside which can be removed to allow air go through. Would they serve like air pots, or at least would they give anything extra to my plants if I use them instead of normal pots? They are not the cheapest ones so if it's not worth it I won't buy them.

What do you think?

The color is only on the outside, but yeah, I suppose it's a risk I shouldn't take.

Daily picture update :smoke: Day 12:

Here are 8x Super Lemon Haze (photos) which will be moved outdoors in a week or so. They are a week older than my autos:

Thai Budda Man, I'm gonna mix it up a little bit:P Actually I just did. Sunday and all, lots of free time. I put 3 out of 6 in those hand woven pots, 2x MI5s and 1x SCH, the other 3 in normal ones. Always experimenting.. Let's hope this gamble turns out well. I also put 2 more CFLs for a total of 180w, and an extra fan. Here's how it looks:

MI5s in the front row, SCHs on the back.
The ones still in the small cups are the photos.

The small MI5 that had issues it turned out it had grown very little roots, compared to the others, so I put it directly in the new pot instead of tier-ing it. Hopefully it will catch up.

When I removed the bottoms of the cups to put them in the bigger pots I sprayed some Great White solution on the place where the roots would have immediate contact. I didn't water as I watered them last night, plus there is some moisture from the GW solution. It's the first time I use GW and from what I read I should feed with some molasses for it to activate? I don't have any right now, it'll have to wait till tomorrow.

You can buy airpots online but with shipping there not going to be cheap.

I know namvet, unfortunately I have to buy lots of stuff online, even proper CFLs, never mind organic nuts, airpots etc. Even though I live in Europe, there's not one hydro shop in my country :/ What's more annoying, most of the stuff on amazon.co.uk cannot be shipped here either, I have to track individual companies for most of the stuff I need.

Day 13. One day after the transplant/tier no signs of shock. Even the small MI5 that had a full transplant seems to like it.

Till tomorrow :pop:

Day 15. Nothing out of the ordinary, all seems to be doing well, the small MI5 has all set of leaves turned back up to normal, now it needs to catch up :howdy:
