So finally I've managed to get off my arse, and do some growing stuff.

I was about to get a DP 200w Led(still going to get it, not just right now)
, but life got in the way, so I've decided to do a micro grow with Folgers coffee can, 35w Led, and with Bionova Autoflower SuperMix nutes...

I'm not after yelds, but to test my lights and that tiny 2ltr reservoir to see if I can get anything out of the the little space I have. My HPS is being used with my chilis, this is what you'll get

So, here's the components;

Bubbler;


Seeds;


Tent;


Not sure of the then yet, it's so damn small(35x35x60cm) that I don't think I can work it throughout the grow, I have DarkStreet 40 on stand by if it get too cramped in there..

Lights (haven't decided yet, probably the "miniufo" is going to be used, both 35w));




I'n doing a grow journal at the Finnish site also, but I'll try keep you guys updated also as things move along..

I also got hold onto some Auto AK47 pollen that is probably going to get used in this first round, to get some seeds for the summer..

Today I've put the seed between paper towels, and hopefully in a couple of days I can move the seed in the rockwool..

Keep in mind the smaller the dwc-tank the harder to keep temperature and ph-ec right! :gthumb:

Yeah, English isn't my native language, so there will be some of that misspelling in the future, thanks for the clarification..
This thread is going to get moved to the micro section, because of some kind of glitch in my computer, so I'll see you there once the Mods have moved it..

Looking forward to this grow too, it's been a while I've grown anything besides Chilis, kind of stoked about this

Yeah, I'm aware of the work involved in this kind of operation. Got a small heating mat for the rez, but I'm going after the colours, and "night" temps go to about 17deg celsius @ night, father I shut down the HPS in the chili chamber

Still not quite sure about the nutes I'm goin to use. I've got a bunch of different ones, but that Bionova stuff helped my other plants after seeing some defiencies, mainly cal and mag..

Gonna get some epsom salts, 'cause in Finland there aren't any "real" bottled solution for those except those Canna mono nutrients bottles.

So that's one of the most likely to get used. Was thinking about using half dose of lucas formula, with some Diamond Nectar and Canna PK13 later along the line. We'll see how it's going to go, and I'll try to fix things as we go on with the grow..

As I said it's been awhile, and Always just used GH 3part nutrients in the past(with great results), my now I got some different brands to try out, and I'm curious to tryout some different stuff Whoops

Got my PH meter ready, but have never used(or needed) ec meter so I'm just going by the look of the plant. I've been doing hydro for the better part of the decade, so I'm not totally newbie in growing..
But as always, there's something new to be learned every day..

Life on Mars

So, we have a lift off..
Today the seed has sprouted, and I moved it into the rockwool cube and into the bubbler.

I'll use the 40x40x120cm tent for this run.

PH is @ 5.5 with a bit of Rhizotonic, I think I'll wait few days to a week, before adding anything else in the mix..

Damn, that's was fast, I have root(s) coming out of the cube already and the seedling has started to grow..
I changed the rez with 2 drops of Supervit, 2ml AFSupermix, 2ml of Diamond nectar.. At this point the plant doesn't need food yet, but I'm impatient
