Hi guys,
Had a problem about a week or two ago on my friends grow..
now i have a problem on my grow :\

Im in my 5th week of flowering (the big photo girl) and dunno exactly wich week with the autos, cause i didnt even know i had autos in the grow..

Anyway about 3 days ago I noticed..

CSC_4030.jpgDSC_4027.jpgDSC_4029.jpgDSC_4021.jpgDSC_4025.jpgDSC_4026.jpg

i know thats alot said and done..
but i realy cant move the plants in order to flush them..cause the photo outgrew my box like 3 weeks ago..

2 are in a 40l container and one is in a 7litre pot

The big container houses 1 photo girl and 1 auto..
The purple shoots and small yellow fan leaves in some of the pics are from the photo girl..
On my photo girl.. 90% of the leaves turned yellow.. but i guess thats from her finishing her grow?
The buds look really nice aswell.. but im worried that maybe both of the flowers growing in the container are stunned, cause i havent seen any progress in the 3 days i mentioned..

Thanks in advance ;):toke:

Wow, you should have came to us sooner.First your Ph is probably way off and that caused a major lockout of your nutes. The leaves on the girls with the pistols shouldn't be that yellow yet.The other lyellow leaves with the browning is a cal-mag,phosphorous,and pottasium deficiency. It also looks like nitrogen def. Get your PH in line and flush them with water then give them some cal-mag and some nutes that have the basic npk and micro nutes. In the mean time I would remove all those yellow leaves because there to far gone and won't come back.It will take a while to see the effects of the nutes so be patient .I hope this helps .

Ohh my, didnt think there would be so many deficiencys :)
Thanks for the tips namvet25.

Like i said, i cant move te container, cause of the big flowers size, in order to flush the plants.
This is like a bagseed test grow that i have, wanted to test out, what i could do with my limited space and budget.
I didnt do any feeding during the whole grow.. just fed them water.

So what would you do in my place? Considering i cant flush, and i have to order nutes online and probably wait like a week for them to get here ?

would it be possible to do a soil grow without adding nutes throughout the whole grow?

Thanks :)

I agree that it's pretty likely your pH is off. Also, you haven't fed them anything and it's very likely that you've exhausted whatever nutrients were in your soil. So the combination of the two has probably led to the deficiencies you are seeing.

It's possible to a complete grow without nutrients but you've got to have a good soil mix to start with. The problem is that autos tend to be a bit nutrient sensitive, especially when in early veg, and a soil too high in nutrients can cause problems. Even rich soils like Fox Farms Ocean Forest require additional nutrients after 3-4 weeks. I would suggest you order some nutrients and while they probably won't have a big effect on this grow, you'll have them for the next one.

Give us some information about the soil you are using and we can probably make some suggestions for you.

No way to slide a pan under neath? At least you could check the PH that way (if you had a stick) If youi could lift a pot 6"you could flush into a small stew pot, one gallon at a time.

Don't know if this is possible for you or not, but I hope things go well at least.

my two cents.

Howdy ho! :D

Thanks for the friendly replys :)

The soil im using, is composana i think :) it had 4% perlite and a ph between 5,6 - 5,8 .. again i think.. ive thrown away the empty bag :\
I think its quite good soil, for what its worth and what there is avalible in my country..
But i could buy some extra perlite, do add another 50 to those 4%.. would that be okay for the soil mix?

The grow started a bit in a hurry.. it is my first grow.. didnt realy read about alot of things.. just watched a few youtube videos if im honest.. later on.. when most of the mistakes were made, i took time.. and watched a heap load of movies.. and read all possible forums.. :)

So yes, for the next grow.. only pots.. 10-14l.. nutes.. and a different closet.. cause this one is just terrible :) but it did its job for 60 something days.. just came short for the last weeks.. were most of the good stuff happenes..from what i've seen and read :)
Do you think Powderfeed from GHS would do the job for autos aswell?
Was thinking of getting some Cheese autos from dinafem for the next one..

Anyway.. yes i literally tried everthing.. the container is acctualy 1 stacked on on top of the other.. and i made alot of holes for the water to drain. The main stem is so big, that if i lift the box it will burn on the light.. wich is also attached in a stupid way.. and i cant take it out, or move it or anything :)
Realy complicated .. i know :)DSC_3986.jpg <--So this is how i looks with the height.. The top of the main stem is pressed against the reflector ..i couldnt get it in frame :) DSC_3972.jpg This is how they were looking a few days into flowering :-) DSC_3968.jpg <--how it started out :) DSC_4011.jpg<-- bud from my photo, taken 4 days ago.. got bigger meanwhile tho :) DSC_4009.jpg <- buds from the auto? Im not realy sure its a auto tho.. but it started showing first signs of flowering about 15 days after i switched the lights?
The guy who sold me the weed, said it was from his grow and that it was a auto grow..

The temps were most of the time and still are consistant.. 25.7 - 27.4 Celsius..during the night 19 - 22*C, and the humidity during veg was 50-60% now in flowering its arround 30%.. The fan i have is blowing the whole time that the lights are on.. then it turns off during sleep time. Ohh and im using a 250w HPS light

Hope anyone finds the time to read my esey :)

Have a nice day

There are fulll autos
There are semi autos
and then there is sweet tooth (some just do whatever)

Sometimes we get a seed that does what it wants. Not much to do other that nurture it along. If you have the time that is. I say you are doing okay considering. You have planned improvements for your next go round. So keep it up. Bravo

Maybe you could take a string and pull down your big buds, till they are even with a canopy? go about 3/4 of the way up and tie a loop loosely around the stem and gently pull it to the side and tie it off a few inches at a time, daily. Try to keep it from crossing another line you might want to tie. Only if it doesn't cause a problem, that way it will get the same as the others as far as light, maybe mature at the same time. I had one do that that actually grew out of the light range, had to tie her back in a bit. then she stopped growing, came out, great, in fact I am ripped on her right now, seriously ripped.

Thanks for the encouraging words ;)

I should have topped her at the beginning..
I tried tieing her down, but the stem was already all stiff, so i span her across the growbox with a rope , but that obviously didnt do the trick, but the side shoots did well of keeping up :)
Like namvet25 said before.. i realy should have come to the forum earlier :))
DSC_4033.jpg <-- Pic taken today, main cola seems to be doing okay.. ive seen some brownish bud leafs (the small ones which grow out of the buds) on some of the side shoots, will that cause bud rot?

Only low height autos for me in the next round :)

Lukasunky,

just make sure you got aiir blowing on it, try to keep any moisture off, But let us know if you see this continuing, or getting worse. Also, if your stretched ones are finished before the lower ones, you can cut off the tops when done, and let the rest finish. Lots of people do this if they want all the buds at the same level of maturity, and not just when they have a problem.

And yes, you could have come and asked questions earlier, but don't fret it, I would venture to say that 80% of the people who join grow sites do it exactly the way you did. In fact, so did I. On my first grow on my second venture into this culture, things had changed so much since the 80's, it was like learning all over again. However, the plants still act the same, what we do with them has changed, mostly. But I thought with my prior experience, I should breeze through it. Once I started vegging, I got pests ( I was outdoors then). Every pest known to man. So I joined a site to get some help. Just like you did. So I think I am a cool guy, and since you did the same thing, I am assuming you must be cool too.

See how my mind works, lol

bye the way, if you want, you can check out my grow, and see the soil I made up, This is a recipe I got from other's, and has been on the web for years. There are many versions of it, but the famous Cultivar Subcool is the inventor/pioneer of this soil oringinally.

If you like what you see, we can get you close to that, or something like that, or a slimmed down/cheaper version of that. We can discuss it if you want. here is the link
