Hey all,. noticed a few spots on some of my older leaves. Not on all my plants but a few. I noticed a little bug under the leave where it was brown. Ive been feeding with FD's sched. Soil mix was Promix mix with a little FFOF. They are starting to show sex and stink. Should I hit them with some flowering nutes? THey are 17 days old today. last feeding was 2 days ago. 002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg

First of all get rid of the bugs.Don't give flower nutes until the vertical growth slow or stops, then go with flower nutes, maybe week four or five.:peace:

PS. 3 outa 4 of my Purple Jems are Males...I am considering letting them pollinate my blueberries :) and the female purple jem :)

keep on with the veg nutes till vertical growth slows/stops otherwise you will end up with a smaller plant,
im not sure about the spots, hard to tell, what kind of bug was it? try get a pic of that if you can and the underside of the leaf etc.
take your pics further away too as your camera is focusing on the ground, easier to zoom in on here.

Thanks guys! They are growing so fast!!! Just the spots are scaring me lmao! They got worse since last night when I posted pics :( The bug was a TINY catapillar looking thing. Heres a pic of my under leaf and a shot of the plant from above. The little yellow spots I notice are on quite a few leaves throughout my crop. Nothing bad as these brown ones on this one plant tho.

Hard to tell in the pic but those do look like insect eggs. Are they outdoors?

Yes, outdoors in 5 gallon rootmaker pots some of the holes are almost see through. Ive been beating my head every watering to ensure PH is where I want it lol so I would HOPE its not an ph pissue lmao!!

It also looks like a bug bite but can't say for sure. Usually my bugs leave a White byte Mark on the leafs... Strange?

Spider mites and caterpillars have been my two biggest issues outdoors. Caterpillars don't respond as well to neem or insecticidal soap. Safer makes a good product for caterpillars that can be picked up at most garden centers or big box stores. Most likely a moth that is laying eggs on the underside of the leaves.
