Had my eye on this soil for a while, wanted to try it.

I currently use COM Platinum Blend, and Promix Organic, adding perlite.

This comes in a bag that says 6 quarts, but pouring 2 into a 4 gallon container makes it obvious there's barely a gallon.

Still, at $8/bag delivered it's not a bad option *IF* it gets good results. Also as a side benefit us older folks are less likely to throw our backs moving the bags.

I've ordered a couple more so I can have a larger sample to do a soil grow off.

Since I'm using seeds rather than clones I won't pretend that this is a fair test, but it should show something.

@Mañ'O'Green You wanted to be tagged.

Still undecided what strain I'm going to grow.

All samples will be the same container, and under the same light, same nutes.

I expect veg to be close, and hope to see a difference when bloom starts. Maybe it'll be obvious before then?

Says it's the in ground soil version, are you using directly in pots or adding perlite? If so about how much?

I saw they make a container mix as well as a raised bed version. I found all three locally for me about $16 for a big bag(1cu ft potting, 1.3cu ft other). A little cheaper per cu ft than shipping the giant bags of happy frog.

Tried the Google AI to find the ingredients in the three mixes, the in ground and container mix seem to have the same ingredients besides perlite, the raised bed mix is very different.

Waiting for more bags, and another 2 spots to open up before I begin, but I do plan to add perlite if it seems like it needs it.

I know I have to add it to the ProMix.

All their soil is super dry too. I normally first water the soil with aloe extract and mix it to try to get everything wet.
