Grow Room Mirrors in grow room???

I have a HUGE mirror to cover the whole backside of my grow room. Would this be beneficial to the plants?

Hey there - mirrors do not diffuse:
white sheets and walls diffuse as well as reflect light, essentially spreading light. A mirror only reflects, in the grow room it will create small areas of more direct light. Not saying it will be bad but not as good as flat white for example

Ok thank you! My walls are already flat white so ill just leave it.

If painting, go for a high light reflectivity (high amount of good quality titanium dioxide white) matte (not smooth/reflective finish) paint. I presume most paint product lines and stores will have such maxxed-out/bright white formulations available.

Not mentioned, dimpled or other patterned surface highly reflective plastic films (what's used in most grow tents) can also be near as reflective and diffusing as matte bright white finish.

High quality white color is bether than mylar etc. Best material i found is Orca foil.

Mirrors are excellent in my bedroom, I Hang it above my bed and love it:smoking:

Where have you found ORCA grow film? I have been searching for nearly 2 years for the ORCA film with no success!
