Ok. Anybody know where to get a decent mold to make the pucks for pressing. Cant do much myself right now so gonna have to be purchased not DIY.

Are there any machine shops around you? From what I’ve seen (in my very minor amount of research on the topic) a piece of rectangular aluminum tubing along with some blocks that fit the inside of the tubing would work great with a clamp to keep the blocks pressed together. That’s what it looked to me like @Mañ'O'Green was using in his chocolate video.

I work in a machine shop so I just figure if and when I get a setup for pressing rosin my puck mold will be “free”

Yeah right now it’s just easier for me to order one. Can’t do much myself and hate asking others for help. Just gonna order one. Should be pressing flower tomorrow. Should also have a baby gold glue and Bluetoof special poking their heads up tomorrow.

Read my DIY Rosin Press thread Lots of hints and tricks in there. I ordered pieces for my prepress from Online Metals cut to the lengths needed. You do have to file and sand down the solid stock to fit inside the rectangular tubing. It is a lot of work by hand - but I am retired with lots of time.

I use and like the Raw Parchment Papers. IMHO I have found pressing bags to be a waste of time and materials.

100% dropping one of those next time I start new beans.... only growing a couple at a time and only being 4 weeks in on current grow it’s gonna be a while

Thanks. I have the raw on order and just gonna have to order something. Looking at pollin press possibly
