Lighting MoC; Blueberry Domina X 3

Looking good! Although I never measured how tall mine got it did get pretty tall. And as far as the smoke, it's my favorite right now. Might be because I grew it but either way the sweet berry flavor is awesome!
I like to keep track so that when I grow this, or a bean with similar parents, whatever changes I have made will be easy to measure. Domina 98 is one of my faves and my next grow will be sugar black rose, my all time fave. Growing your own weed is the most fun I have had in a long time.

VG is on track as usual. :thumbsup:you know that i run bs panels , like you. i keep my panels at about 16inchs once there out of the seedling stage. and when budding down to six inch's.
i have a blackstar chrome, in the other tent, that requires more distance from plants. but during flowering the buds are almost touching my panel's. i bet that if you lower your panels you will have a better yield. on a medium size auto, i will get at least three if not four oz. per plant dry. what have your yields been??
Thanks, I agree. After four years of doing things my way I am ready for some sage advice. Each time I add something like new nutes, new light, new soil, ect things do get better, most of the time anyway. The first few grows in this tent I felt good about 200 grams dry from five plants, last grow of critical+ 2.0 was over 320 grams for three plants. I have the leds at 20 inches and will let the plants grow into them. I was going to try 18 inches once vertical growth stops, but 12 or less is what I will try. The side lighting helps but temps will shut them down for next grow. This year for my degree I hope to improve quality.

Today each girl got 5+ quarts of 20ml big bloom, 5ml grow big, 5ml microbe brew, 5ml kangaroots per gallon at 6.1 ph. The plants have good color and growth 15 to 18 inches, bud development is a bit different.

Day 35 and it looks like I guessed wrong again. On Monday each girl got 6qts of 10ml cal/mag at 6.1ph and I expected vertical growth to continue until next week but it has stopped, 19in, 20in, and 23in. Each girl got one gallon of 10ml sledgehammer at 6.2ph followed by one gallon each of 20ml big bloom, 10ml bembe, 5ml tiger bloom, 5ml kangaroots, 5ml micro brew, 5ml kelp me and 1/8tsp beastie bloom at 6.1ph. The T5s have been changed from agromax pure par veg to pure bloom and the leds are at about 10in. I guess if I want a bigger plant I will have to use a bigger pot. I forgot the critical+ 2.0 grow was in 5 gallon airpots.

Day 41 and things are still going well, leds are still at about 10 inches and the only issue for me is the difference in bud development. Plants range from 19 inches (first 3 pics) to just at 25 inches (next three pics) and 23 inches. Over the weekend they got 5 qts of 10 ml sensi cal/mag extra at 6.1 ph. Today each got 2 gallons of 10 ml big bloom, 5 ml tiger bloom, 5 ml bembe, 5 ml micro brew, 5 ml kelp me and 1/8 tsp beastie bloomz at 6.3 ph. The plants are drying a little faster so I will water more and maybe more often. I have stopped using kangaroots and lowered from 20 ml to 10 ml big bloom but added kelp me-kelp you (0.5-0-0.5) also I will raise soil ph from 6.0 to 6.3-6.4ph over the next few weeks. Tent temps are low to mid 80'sF but I will still run the T5s until harvest in about 4+ weeks.

Day 46 and the other two plants have started some good bud development but the shortest still has the best developed buds (pic 2&3) so far. There has even been more vertical growth (25in & 27in) in the two taller plants. The shortest plant, still 19in, showed signs of cal def, orange spots on top fan leaves but the other two did not. Last Thursday each got 2 gallons of 10 ml/gal of sensi cal/mag extra at 6.5 ph and today each got 1.5 gallons of 10 ml big bloom, 10 ml bembe, 5 ml tiger bloom, 5 ml microbe brew, 5 ml kelp me and 1/8 tsp cha-ching per gallon at 6.5 ph. I don't think I will ever be sure why autos under leds seem to get this problem with cal def spots. I know if I don't stress the plant, don't let the ph get screwed up, don't over feed most of the time everything turns out ok. Since I don't see this until the last few weeks of bloom and it happens most to plants that appear less than perfect maybe genes have something to do with it. Anyway bud building is all I care about now so I have started removing some leaves to get more light to the interior, leds at about 10 inches.

Day 49 and each plant got 2 gallons of 10 ml sensi cal-mag extra per gallon at 6.5 ph, with just over 1/2 gallon run-off (6.1 ph). Shortest plant, far right 2nd pic, has a bit of orange in the top cola and the middle plant, pic 3, is getting some good resin production. The plant on the far left, pic 4, still has ok pistol growth but little resin. Tent temps have been high for most of this grow, 83-88 f, and the lower ph hasn't helped but still the plants have done well. I had to replace my extraction fan, already too small, with a cheap one and I won't turn off the T5's now so it is what it is.

Day 51 and all three girls got 2 gallons of 10 ml big bloom, 10 ml bembe, 5 ml tiger bloom, 5 ml microbe brew and 1/8 tsp cha-ching per gallon at 6.5 ph. The shortest girl, first 3 pics, is getting some nice buds and the tallest, next three pics, is looking better. The last plant is still far behind the others.

Day 54 and I was surprised to see the trics on the smallest plant had started to get some amber in the lower branch buds, second pic. One of these days I am going to get a camera that shows trics. Everyone got 2 gallons of 10 ml per gallon cal/mag at 6.5ph. This plant will get some bembe on Wednesday (day 56) and plain water Saturday with Sunday (day 60) being harvest day. The other two plants are at least 10-14 days before they will be ready to clean, I guess this short pheno is quicker. Resin production is picking up and the buds are getting fatter, so these girl will get another feeding. At least this gives me another chance to see if a long flush makes any difference to me, so far it is very little if any. I have the taste buds of a snail living on a rock outside of a sewage treatment plant, in New Jersey. I have someone else taste for me, if I can afford it, ha ha.
