You could give it a go...
It depends what the existing humidity is in the space without plants, how many plants you are growing, what the temperature is, what kind of lights you are growing with etc.
In my opinion this moisture absorber is probably fine for a closed space with nothing which transpires in the room. If you were hanging clothes to dry, having a shower there, having lots of people breathing and sweating, or lots of plants transpiring, then these things are probably not powerful enough.
Dehumidifiers usually work best when the air temperature is high and the humidity is high. However high air temperatures = airy buds and high humidity = rotten buds

So if you have the ideal situation for these things to work you're already kinda screwed.
I'd look into getting something like this
http://www.appliancesdirect.co.uk/Ebac_18L-Day_Extraction_Smart_Humidistat_2650e/version.asp#top
Okay it's a heck of a lot more money and a lot bigger than what you are looking to get but it works. It also has an option for a permanent drainage, so you can run the excess humidity to waste.
But like I said depends on your conditions, could be over kill and or over budget.
I'm just concerned about firstly how much water that aero would extract and then when it does extract it, how many times you'd have to empty the thing. I dunno... That's my feedback anyways
