I
I don't mean to hijack the thread,...... But have question, I use House & Garden's drip clean which is supposed to dissolve salt build up in soil, would that also (within reason of course) mitigate any excessive use of Epsom salt?
Organic cal/mag...1 teaspoon epsome salt and 1 tablespoon molasses per gallon(4L) of water. I would mix that in between your feeds 1 time a week. Be careful, as the epsome salt can build up and cause lock out if you over do it!!

... of course, the 'crobes dig the sugars, ramping up the nute' cycling in the soil, which in turn, indirectly, benefits the plant.... to the best of my learning, sugars aren't directly absorbed by the roots, and as such, molasses doesn't impart any flavor per se,... Another option I like, at the end of bloom, if I don't want any more nute's at all going into the soil, but want the 'crobes to get a boost to help clear out remaining free and soil-bound nute's, honey is a nice alternative,... I usually mix it in with a "flushing" agent, in my case, Sledgehammer, which is basically just the surfactant saponin, derived from yucca, I think,... these sorts of products help knock loose nutrient ions still bound to the media particles (part of that whole cation exchange capacity thing).... now this said, you need to be careful about not overdoing it, or going too late into the cleansing period with any carb' source,.. you still want the plant to be depleted by harvest, staggering across the finish line if you will,... our in house uber-guru JM has warned about how badly carbo-loaded bud tastes and burns!

.. but that has all made sense
. . I was wondering if you know about FPE's ? I am desperately trying to get an answer as to weather tomato plant tips are a good FPE for MJ during veg ? It's the only material around here I can get my hands on at the moment. Thanks again Waira
