So noticing this white stuff reminds me of white powdery mold. But using auto pots and coco I’ve heard the salt from the fertilizer rises to the top. The auto pot has only been on for 4 days. Can the salt move up that fast? Or is this mold?

It's neither. It's fungus, it's normal, and it's nothing to worry about. Won't bother the plants at all. You'll eventually see the salt buildup on the outside of the fabric bags and it'll look crystalized
As noted, it's likely just fungi/mold which suggests that you have fertile soil/media supporting microbial growth. You may also see algae. It's what happens in nature. Won't affect the roots at all.
A 1/2 inch/day seems to me to be excellent growth, particularly if this growth involves all or most of the stems/tops. Besides 1/2 inch vertical growth, 1/2 inch grown daily means adding 1 inch width daily. That's a lot of volume and biomass added each day. Have you ever seen better?
