I screwed up my dry, and my buds ended up with a couple spots of white mold. Spots were removed within a day of appearance. Vast majority of the buds look and smell great.

So, still useable? Or do I really need to scrap or ISO the whole batch?

 D'OH! ...sucky when that happens,... the dry and cure process is a skill, like any other, and just as important! The nose knows bro', and some 5-10x magnification as well,... if it was a minor outbreak, no clouds of spores all over everything, then inspect carefully, cut away suspect areas, and make concentrates out of it; bud that looks, smells and feels okay should be smokable,...

Thanks. There hasn't been a spot since I trimmed off the areas. The rest of the bud is drying beautifully. Looks and smells just like bud should. Well, looks just like loose, airy popcorn bud should at any rate.

I also shined a UV light on it as suggested in HubbaBubba's article. No fluorescence at all.

I'm considering spritzing everything down with H2O2 at some point and smoking the herb. Thoughts?

..good!... you mean spraying the infected bud? I dunno about that,... mature hardened spores might not be susceptible-? Still will taste nasty too,... I'd still make qwiso from it, and call it good,...

My wife and I are anything but germiphobes, and have decided to smoke the buds if they smell and taste right post cure.

If I develop any respiratory problems over the next couple months, I promise to report it here.
