How is the smell so far?

I need to get some pics and a new post up, but the girls are putting up frost and really starting to stink now! It's still just a kind of generic young weed smell, albeit, the Blue Zushi has some unusually sweet notes going on. The Blue Zushi is a vigorous power house, she just wants to grow, doesn't really bat an eye at small stressors. The SLIC/SMC however is a much more finicky plant. It grows a lot slower and is kind of hard to get clones from. That's just the nature of the beast, but I do enjoy growing strains that are just completely effortless.

My 3 ladies been a bit bitchy by times, which probably is more related to my envirionment and 2 failures on my part , than due to the genetics. Really a fun to grow strain.

I got 1 truely outstanding , extremly frosty pheno that's turning near black during b-week 7 and she will be done next week for sure, while the others still are behind a week and more.

I can't wait to see , how your zushi will turn out in a few weeks. Thx for sharing your progression and keep on the great work.

Don't get me wrong, there is gas there, but its behind the fruity/citrus sweetness. The SLIC/SMC is more dark and earthy sweet/gas. Think KUSH with dessert notes and fuel. They are both still very early and have a long way to go as far as developing terpenes and smell/flavor profiles. There is a smell/flavor I have been searching for that is beginning to develop in the SMC. I really hope that develops into what I think it is!

KingRatt, I didn't get you wrong, it's just interesting how different perception can be AND also how close to equal things behave and develop.

Wish you all the luck to get what you are looking for in the smc. I'm sure the final result will be fire.

Definitely and with the Blue Zushi Gas is what you should be after in my opinion, with a chemical fruity twist, that's a really nice pheno. With the SLIC/SMC it should be candy desert & fuel!!

Good luck hunting guys, and if you don't find what you're looking for right now, just pop 4-5 beans of each and I'm sure you'll find winners in both!
