Outdoor Most Potent CBD Autos-Humid Hot 35 degrees north

some of my autoflowering strains like LBH auto Asian haze and lbh thaipan haze have high CBD and can handle humid begorcse of the sativa bud struckure compare too other autoflowers

I live where the temps often get into the high 90 during the summer and often stay there for weeks at a time. I've found that plants that finish in the high heat never seem to do as well as those planted in the spring or fall. So what I try and do is start some indoors early and get them out so they finish before it gets too hot. Then I start a second crop to finish up in late fall, before the weather gets too cool. That's worked out a lot better for me. The high humidity would be a concern as it can lead to mold and bud rot.

A few strains that I've grown with high CBD and good medical value are White Sirius, Pakistani Ryder, and Mossy's Dragons.

I observed strains that were acclimated in Canada, both landrace and hybrids that were vigorous and absolutely kicked ass in the south where its hot and humid. We've had nights with the thermometer at 100 degrees at 9pm. Probably much hotter considering humidity. I credit these certain strains abilities to flourish not only to the breeders but the genealogy as well. Pure Hindu kush does very well started indoors and transplanted at about two feet tall. I also had some old school NL#5 and sweet skunk x blueberry. The family tree of the old school strains are incredibly diverse. I was also working on Bonsais Moms and dwarfing just for the fun of it. A flowering bonsai kush makes a great conversation/center piece for your coffee table. I'm interested in creating my own outdoor autos. Wanna try some seed bank ready ones first.

Thanks Damascus, I appreciate the help, but I'm in the US. There's a lot of good seed banks that don't do business here and a few that do.
Yarrr indeed. You can find those linked high-CBD strains at many of World of Seeds EU's partner sites/banks, and most of them mail to the US. Worldwide Cannabis Seeds Bank - The Original Sensible Seed Company appears to be one of the better, both in its seed pricing and shipping with or without shipment tracking. And you can search somewhat via the right side tabs; clicking the "CBD Content" tab reveals their highest CBD strains, with Juanita La Lagrimosa in the lead with potentially up to 8.81% CBD. I'm hoping to tackle that one once I assemble a suitable 240W LED DWC tent to LST it in. It's not an auto though, and I don't see a lot of high CBD autos there aside from the World of Seeds EU ones that they sell.

Never met anyone yet who can smoke a joint, hit a Bong and say - "Oh yes, this is high in CBD".
If there are people out there who can do this - please get in touch.
You can chemically train your memory a bit on THC and CBD detection. I can't tell exactly how much CBD is in a strain by vaping it, but I can pick out the higher cannabinoids pretty easily by sampling them. Like most say, it's all in the characteristics of the high. Best you can do is train yourself a little more via the sampling method by frequently trying the pure sativas that contain low advertised or tested THC levels. Also the pure indicas with high THC levels at some point. Do this to get a better idea of how THC and CBD affect you as an individual. Even though it can still be tough at times when opposite attributes negate a lot of their noticability, after frequent "controlled" exposures you'll likely be better at picking out the traits later on when it's a mixed strain. Once you get that baseline figured you'll begin noticing higher intensities of characteristics or traits, therefore helping you make more accurate assumptions as to the strength of that corresponding natural cannabinoid. Time to check my pee PH. Poop, I wrote a book.

I think it is more than a good chance if you smoking some bud and you notice a general relife of pain but your not really feeling the high as muchthere is a very good chance you smoking a strain higher in cbd's .Now I'm not saying this is always the case I think the breeders and or the seed banks should have to print out their THC and or CBD test report if they are claiming a value of either so one knows facts and not just printed %'s
my :2cents: probably not worth half that but is free:D so.......

No MITJ - you make my point precisely.
Without being specific, there are many Seed Cos now claiming "High CBD" strains.
Trying not to be cynical and believing everything I read ofcourse - but I do have a few doubts about all this - silly me.
I see people recomending stuff here. I see CBD in Company names now. I see people claiming Lab tests.
What I haven't seen are the Lab. tests or anything to back up claims.......have you? If so, where? cos I'm happy to be proven wrong.
For the present time - till this all becomes much more "Scientific" and until there are publishable tests which can be relied upon - this is all just "Hearsay" - and dare I say it, advertising hype which unless you are stupid, should be ignored or at least understood as such.

A good chef can taste and tell you all of the ingredients in a certain dish. I don't smoke much myself these days, but I can understand people that do and see how they could feel the effect and potency of different cannabinoids in their favorite strains.

I do have a question perhaps those that know can help me with.
How does "High CBD Content" roll out amongst the different phenotypes within a strain?
They do not all have similar structures.
They do not all smell or taste the same.
They do not all have the same THC content.

If, as I suspect, CBD content will vary also between phenotypes - one could buy many seeds and be unlucky - assuming you believed the "High CBD" content claim in the first place.

Just a thought.

The older method of testing cannabinoid content destroys the sample; the quantacann uses the reflection of wavelengths of light in the infrared spectrum"860nm-1660nm" which is above what humans can see. I believe we see between 400nm-700nm. I believe UV is below 400nm. BYU developed a system to read the carbonized scrolls from the Villa of Papyri in Pompeii that uses infrared light.

It appears the first confirmed high CBD strains were discovered serendipitously by the breeder by recognizing and appreciating it's medicinal value. Material tested using the quantacann can be smoked or vaped afterwards.

Would be nice if one of the "High CBD" Breeders could comment wouldn't it?
Would I be going too far to assume you are suggesting that users should be self-testing and not relying on the Breeder (with his recognition and appreciation)???
If so, I'd agree with you until there is an Industry Standard - why not?
P.S. Still didn't answer my Phenotype question.
