Hey guys,
So for the last few years I have been using gold label 60/40 clay pebbles and coco. I haven't had any problems, It's just the clay pebbles annoy me in various ways, they only do 45L bags and its an expensive option.
I was looking at 40L bags of eco thrive 60/40 perlite and coco with added charge but then realised I could buy 2 50L bags of coco with added charge and a 100L bag of perlite, which would save me about 40% of the cost and give me an extra 40L of grow medium to work with.
50/50 sounds good to me as watering a couple of times a day would be no problem. I'm just wondering if anyone here has any experience with perlite coco mix's and what they found works best. Maybe you guys think the 60/40 with pebbles would be a better choice anyway?
The medium will be going in standard 15L black plastic pots.
