Lighting MS006 noise level

What's the MS006's noise profile? In Db?
All the info I could find is that in most growrooms it's fan noise is pretty much covered by extraction fan noise, but my extraction fan does only 19 Db, so all I hear is the sound of air, not the fan itself.
So I want to understand how much more noise will I have in my room if I purchase MS006.
Thanks.

I just wish to know whats the brand of the extraction fan running@ 19db?

Could be a S&P TD silent, they are advertised as 19dBA@3m at the lowest setting.

Does anyone have the specs for the fans used in the MS0006? I'm interested in the light, but I think it will be a bit too loud for my setup. It would be nice to exchange the fans for something at least similar in air flow.

It no problem to upgrade the fans to better more silent ones!

S&P TD silent. A bit expensive but worth every penny.

But standard these vent have only 2 speed settings, is there a possibility make the fan slower without the need to buy a 100-200 buck dimmer?
Now I have a good extractor only when I slow him down it starts to hum!

I use a S&P TD 4" fan, running at the fastest of the 2 speed's its still VERY quiet and that's in a 50cmx50cm space. Not much use for extracting heat but good for odour imho.

I have a 280/380 m3/h TD silent and I also found it a bit loud even at the lower setting. I'm currently using one of these and the lower setting on the fan to slow it down:

Probably not as cheap as you had hoped but there is no humming since it's just a 5 step transformer. I usually run my fan on setting 3 and that's enough keep the tent cool with a 250W CFL inside. In this mode it's very quiet, you can just about pick it up from a meter away in the dead of the night but even then it's just a faint whooshing noise from where the air comes out.
I also have to add that I wrapped a thick blanket around the whole fan and sonodec ducting assembly and stuffed the whole sausage inside a long cardboard box.

I m waiting for the day when they make silent fans doing 40/80/120 m3/h because for most small led growers this is more than enough!:2cents:

running a 0006 and a air king bfq 90 fan and can barely hear anything in the closet in dead silence. If im in the room with anything running it cannot be heard. Super satisfied atm i might try the s&p when i get some extra dollars

hello gents!
did someone in fact changed the fans of this lamp for more silent fans? i'm about to do it but i'm not sure if the rpm of the new fans will be enough to cool the leds and avoid troubles with overheating. i'm considering to get a fan with 15 dB and 1400 rpm. please let me know who got this experience
