Grow Mediums Multi-Strain Coco Grow--Smithee

DSC_0318.jpga little dusting from last winter.:smokebuds:

Good call Astro'! exactly right...the other lovely is a type of Luna Moth... and a nice action photo, AS! you have cool beasties at your place too....
:stylez rasta smoke:
Hitting the right nute level is a game of chance with diverse strains
-->Don't I know it, the hard way on my first grow! :face::Stones slap:
Man, I wouldn't even know where to start with photo choices,... just trying to assay what all is out there would be enough to cause frontal lobe collapse! two names stuck in my head from some time ago,... Lionheart and Blowfish....** No lie about the seed crush going on out there,... sounds suspect, as to the motivation behind it,... fingers crossed!

It is very rewarding to take care of an aging parent. My dad and I could sit for hours doing nothing and enjoy each others company. Now, my mother was a different story--go go go, until, she departed. All I would hear is Alan you don't like to have any fun. :kitty: Today, I miss them both.
--> Mmm, indeed,... our Dads sound much the same... LOL! companionable silence, or select gripes and grunts at the TV during sports... Dad's older sister was like your Mom, always in motion; she came here from Japan at 12, worked until well into her 70's, and made all kinds of fantastic or horrifying foods for us! LMAO!! Ughh -octopuss! sea urchin (gonads)! :edible: Ahhh, memories...! :D:

Cheers waira. Well, I think I might like your climate better. A possibility we might relocate out your way, but a bit east of you. Of course, several issues will need to be resolved and it will take a little time. Nevertheless, I will eventually go north of here towards the mountains.

In fact, I have a photo strain coming that would be perfect for your outdoor grows. After ordering I noticed it was hybridized as an outdoor/greenhouse strain. I am going to have a couple of people grow it. One way or another someone will make it work. The affects/terpines/aroma sold me.
I notice and can now verify UK Attiitude orders to the west go direct to LA (no Chicago/NY inspections). And here is the strain. http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Purple_Paro_Valley/Mandala_Seeds/. If interested see the breeders site. Two phenos and produces a lime like bouquet.

Your Dad comments reminded me of one, specific, funny story concerning age and TV volume.

Your Aunt exposed you to Asian gourmet dinning. Both of those sea creators could send a youngster over to strict vegetarianism.

Update. Nearing daily watering.

The non compliant KVS had to go. I am not a fan of this kind of elimination. A photo below shows just how bushy she became. I noticed 100% hallow stems. A quick search indicates this is probably a hydro/coco result. I have seen it before, yet, not to this extent on a healthy plant.

The WWidow is getting close. One more feed before eliminating the Canna A&B and most supplements. Took a last photo before it starts yellowing a bit. One of my better looking plants. Genetics .

1. New group.
2. KVS before cut.
3.4. WWidow before ripening.

Just a note for C coco growers. Canna recommends 0 EC water source. I have been using the RO adding cal/mag then PH'ing. Once PH'ed the nutes/supplements are added and the mix is Ph'ed again. This is Rosenthal's buffering method. I noticed, today, after forgetting to perform the first PH (after adding cal/mag) that adding Silicon does bring the alkalinity up just right. This time I did not use any up/down after adding all nutes. And added the Si at 5ml dose (used about 15ml), until, PH hit the mark. I remember The Squid mentioning this last year. He was advised to use Si to raise PH. I believe it was Sniper's (or Jackal's--anyway it was one of AFN's top growers) advise. Since then I have read--such is a good method of getting PH stabilized when dealing with an acidic mix. Canna may be somewhat like Adv. PH perfect nutes.

Great looking plants. I also have been using silica any time I need PH up. I dont ever touch the PH up. I have noticed awesome benefits from the silica, I love the stuff.

Interesting, yes--Mandala has a top shelf breeding operation. Great selection and the Purple Paro caught your eye. Doesn't it sound tasty. And to top it off it is a sativa with indica medicinal properties.

Looks like you will be the "premier" paro grower. Drop those seeds asap.

Come on out. I have just the place for you. Will post an article related in the back.

Thanks for comp. Notice, I am not begging for your well water. :High 5:

Afterthought, I too have been researching how to limit the photo size and flowering. I ordered a truck load of seeds and am trying to temper my enthusiasm for growing a 1/2 dozen at a time. Some will be aok for single cola early flowering. The sativas will be a challenge. Let me know what method you decide to use. I think the big key will be early flowering--6" to less than a foot and 1/2 approx. and/or 12/12 at two weeks. They can also be put on 12/12 right out of the gate.
