Hi all, looking for opinions here. I currently have a fixture I built with 3) 3500 k CXB 3590 and 3) 3000k Vero 29's. I'm thinking of adding 3) 6500k CXB's because I didn't have any real luck in veg stage. I would just switch between the 3000k and 6500k for veg or flower although run the 3500k all the time.
What are your thoughts on this.?

No luck in veg stage?
I saw a hundred of guys using 3500 and 3000 for veg and results are amazing!! Including mine.

WOW, maybe it's the cold temps then. Didn't see much growth so I switched back to my t5 for now. Do you think the 6500k would help more.?

I think something else is to blame...i run 4 CXB3590 3500K and 4 CXA3070 4000K at 700mA and my autos have never vegg'd any better! this is a photo at 23 days...

Yes, "cooler" spectrums are better for veg. But if you go with 3500K, you can have that light for bloom too. So it's cheaper "all around spectrum".

Any pics of a complete grow under your 3000k?

Did you find that they just stay too short and compact by any chance?

I wouldnt waste my time on 6500k cobs, 4000k has plenty of blue, lots of people grow full cycle under 3000k cobs, some even 2700k, if you are having issues its likely not the light... Temps should be low 80s and not drop below 75 at night...
