New Grower My first Auto Grow!!

Groovy, you're almost there. If your pot size is 1.5 gallons, you actually want to flush with at least 4.5 gallons of water. If you're putting in pH 8.0, you want your runoff pH to come back up over 7.0. That will mean that your soil pH is back up above 6.0 and much closer to the ideal range of 6.3 - 6.5. Because your starting soil pH was so low, it might be tough to do all in one shot, but I would use at least a total of 4.5 gallons of water for your flush.

ok ill do a cpl more gls. and see were it brings me up to !! be back soon!!!

Ok so a cpl more gls. in !! but my run off is no higher than 6.8!! but im useing a ph 600 pen ive heard they are not real great but its all i got !!

Right on man, that's still a little low but it's definitely much better than it was before!

I'm not sure if using any hydrated lime would be of any benefit or not.... Muddy knows all about hydrated lime, we'll see what he thinks about it.

Thanks man:thumbs: About how long before i might see some change??

It will take a couple days and you're going to need to replace the nutrients that you flushed out of the soil. In the meantime, you might consider giving her a light foliar feeding to help get her through until then.

so do i add nutes with a small amount of water or just do a foliar spray?? and when should i do this?

I would hold off on adding any nutes to the soil for now, as hard as that is to do when you know the lady needs it. Adding nutes before the soil gets back into the proper pH range won't add any benefit as the plant won't be able to uptake those nutes properly. I would go back to feeding for your next watering.

I would go with the foliar spray for now. I'm not familiar with the Dyna Grow line of nutes that you're using. Does it have any recommended dosage for foliar feeding on the bottles or their website?

As far as when to foliar feed, it's best to do that soon after the lights come on in your chamber. That's when the stomata on the undersides of the leaves are the most open and most able to take in nutrients. Remove the lady you're going to feed from the chamber, give her a spray (making sure to get the undersides of the leaves), and wait for her to completely dry off before putting her back under your grow lights. Waiting until she is dry will prevent burn spots from the light being intensified through the droplets of water.

Hey BKM I been having the same issue as you man.. I flushed her last watering and now foliar feeding and she is reacting extremely well. Curious to see what my ph is but to then I am foliar feeding her. good luck bro
