New Grower My first grow - 5 Autoflower plants started ~3/28/2013

I don't want a sog lol that's why I'm moving them. did not expect them to get so big and I want them spread out a lot more so the bottoms don't die off so bad. It is so think even the 1000 watt can't penetrate very good

Hahahaha, that's definitely a problem I hope I have LOL. This is my first grow and I think I'm hooked.

OK - I lied, I got really stoned tonight and bored and decided to play with my camera some more.

This is pretty much my final setup. I'm contemplating swapping the smaller Tek 2 out with the Tek 4 as side light (that might be overkill). The next time I purchase anything will be when I buy a house and convert an entire room

As you can see (sorta) in pictures 2 and 5, the G13 Diesel is droopy, eagle claws for the past week and a half, and some of the first true leaves are wilting and dying, and some of the lower larger fan leaves have large yellow blotches. I'm guessing nitrogen deficiency or PH lockout, in anycase, I sorta flushed the G13 and Blimburn AK auto yesterday with 2 gallons of water each (after their last feeding 5 days before). I will give them a few days to recover and see what happens. The blimburn is still the biggest, but also is displaying some slight yellowing at the bottom.

I also did a slight foliar spray on the affected areas with 3ml of Trinity and Buddha Grow. The main 5 autos are all early week 5. The photo is 3 weeks old. These are 3 gallon smart pots, so you can see the plants are about average to less than average in size for week 5

But I just switched to LEDs yesterday, so lets see if it makes them explode

Let me know what you guys think of everything please!

Sorry for the multiple posts guys, I'm really high.

If the plants continue to show more yellow spots, I think i will feed 5-7 ml this next feeding, as i think the plants maybe very hungry. I don't see burnt leaf tips, so I'm thinking deficiency as opposed to burn.

here's a little history as to the feedings. I've fed them twice already first feeding 2 weeks ago and 2nd feeding 6 days ago. First was 3ml buddha grow + 3ml trinity, 2nd was 5ml buddha grow + 5ml trinity + 3 ml calmag. Per gallon. They are now in week 5 and I'm using Roots Organic Soil w/ 3 gallon Smart Pots.

My plants are exhibiting nitrogen deficiency based on this website: http://www.marijuana-seeds.net/plantproblems.php

Also, this next feeding will be my last veg feeding before I switch to bloom nutes, which will be ~5/7 and then regular watering on ~5/11 (they will be week 6 day 3 here), then finally start bloom nutes on ~5/15 ( which will be exactly week 6 day 6) -- sorry folks, got alot on my mind when im stoned.

What do you guys think? (sorry i'm too stoned to pull the plants out to take pics of them without the LED right now, I will do that tomorrow morning)

My AK loved nute's I feed with every watering every other day or 2 same with my ThinkDiffeent and the rest

I just concocted a 10 ml solution of Buddha Grow, 10 ml of Trinity, 5 ml CalMag, in 1 gal, PHd to 6.5.

I used that to foliar feed all my plants, did a slight misting over them. Lets see what that does.

Do I need to store these spray bottles in the fridge? The hydro shop guy told me to do that. Last time i kept some in this spray bottle, it got massively stinky and I threw the entire bottle out.

Need some help guys:

If using Roots Organics Soil - do you need to PH the water / feedings? I heard that you do not use PH up or down to adjust when growing organically.

I've been using this stuff religiously lately and have noticed my runoff PH drop like crazy after a nute feeding (PH 5.0), i'm starting to get clawing on a 2nd plant and am wondering if it is the PH up and down?

I'm using the following nutrients all at 1/4 str:
Aurora line: Buddha grow, trinity, buddha bloom
General organics Cal Mag
VermiT compost tea
Bud candy

Always ph water. No matter organic, hydro, soilless. Always ph water. If your runoff is 5 you gotta get it up in a bad way. Below is what GoAuto provided me, it works like a charm.

Rough Calculation Guide:
Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

I've heard so many mixed stories, some say do not PH the water because the microorganisms will take care of it, others say add dolomite but do not use PH up or down. I'm not quite sure what to do at this point. There's not too many versed in organic growing i guess.

Good luck on your 5 plant run. I just completed a 5 plant run, got a tad bit over 11oz in mason jars yesterday. Just burped them for a hour. And it has the place smelling. Going to be burping inside the tent with the extraction fan running. Just shorten my burping time. But a bit of advise remember to shuffle the plants everyday. Rotate that stock. Subbed.
