New Grower My first grow - Big Devil #2

You have a power led and from what I've seen they stay short and bushy! Looking good so far, and do you have a ph meter?
Well, I'm not so sure she'll stay short and bushy. It is after all a Big Devil #2 and she's grown like 3-4 cm in the last 48 h!! Yes, I have a digital pH-meter. I haven't calibrated it yet, though.
I'm going to check the pH-level next time I give her nutes + water. However, I don't think the pH-level is too low/high. Doesn't hurt to check. Compare these pics with the last pics I posted 48 h ago:

She's grown a few more cm's. Gave her 3 litres of water + nutes earlier this morning. Calibrated my digital pH-meter with the wrong solution (used 6.86 pH instead of 4.0) and calibrated to 4.0. The excess water read 5.0 pH. But it should be a lot higher since I wrongfully calibrated "down". I crushed an egg shell to very small pieces in a cup, added som water and poured close to the stem. Oh, well... I hope that didn't make a lot of difference. Can't be bothered mixing more nutes with water and re-calibrate the pH-meter to get the correct reading. I'll do that in 3-4 days when it's time to water/nute my girl again. I'll post some more pictures upcoming week.

Updated pictures!

Has she entered the bloom stage?
She's grown approx. 3 inches since last picture update!
Simple solution with carbon dioxide tablets

Ok, fellas. First picture is taken solely 'cause I want to know if she's blooming or not. Second picture is just to show you, m8s, how she's grown since last time. Last picture is just to show an easy way to give her carbon dioxide.
I'm not at all certain if I'm doing any major wrongs here. I decided for instance not to flush my pot to sort out the Ph-level. I'm confident she's going to be alright. All I did was to calibrate my pH-meter in a wrong way by mistake. I read in Swedens largest cannabis forum, Swecan, that the water and nutes added should land around pH 6.5-7.5 because the soil buffers the pH level down by 1 point, so the collected runoff water should be around pH-level 6. It completely depends on the soil and its composition... or so I've read.

I'd love some feedback on how to proceed with my baby gurl. Maybe some tips, hints to improve my plant? =)

Load the pics to this site. so much easier to look at.

also I dont think its pest. Just looks like a little leaf damage from moving the plant around.

the pics you showed for early flower stage are useless. We need to see the node, where a branch is coming off the main steam. It will show sex there first.

Ok, will do! Sorry, I'm new here, I haven't yet figured out how to upload directly to the AFN site. I'll figure it out... Pics of nodes coming up! :)

Could very well be leaf damage, I haven't got the slightest clue! I'm here to learn! You're from Colorado? Lucky dawg!

Here's some nodes! (finally, after a load trouble ^^ )

I need your expert help guys! A fella in another forum thought my gurl is a hermaphrodite after seeing pics of my nodes, but recommended that I'd wait a few days.
A few days has passed and I'm eager to get a 2nd opinion. Check out these thumbnails below and help me determine what's what, please!!

She'll be 42 days "old" this monday and according to the seed bank her bloom period is some 63 days! :gthumb:

...so about 3 months from now she's harvested, dried and cured!

Oh Pistill My Heart!!

Hi, guys!! Just posting some updates here. This morning, 05:30 CET, I gave my preciousss 3 litres of tap water + nutes, 1½ cap worth. (1.5-2 cl?) I also checked the pH level in the runoff water. 6.3 is that good? I get so many differet answers. One says that the runoff water should be between 6.5-7.5 pH because the soil buffers 1 pH? Another say that pH level should be 6.5. Some even say that you should raise the pH level when flowering. I use Bio Bact. Environmentally best choice. It's not a cannabis fertilizer rather Biobact is an organic fertilizer for flower beds, vegetable gardens and window boxes/pots. Contains humus and living microorganisms. Humus improves soil quality and microorganisms transforms organic material into nutes providing healthier plants with abundant flowering/harvest. Biobact is part of cycle and is produced by a biological process of residues from the paper industry.

Declaration: Residues from papermaking byproducts
from conventional food and microorganisms.
Organic fertilizer solution NK 3-2 with secondary nutrient
elements and minerals. Dry matter content 30%. Organic content 80%.
Nitrogen (N) total 2.7%, whereof 0.6% nitrate nitrogen and 2.1% ammonium nitrogen. Potassium (K) total 1.7%. Sulphur (S) 2.5%. Zinc (Zn) 0.02%.

I'm all for helpful hints to what nutes and such to use though. One forum friend recommends Hesi products. He claims he never uses PK13/14 because he doesn't see any difference when using it. I dunno what level grower he is but I'm certain he's got some experience, a few harvests behind him so to speak. What say you? PK 13/14 a big fat yes or a waste of money?

Here's some updated pics taken yesterday. She's only 60 days away from harvest - if you believe what the seed banks tell you. She took 5 weeks before her bloom period started. 63 days on this strain

*UPDATE*
Remember the same fella who claims I don't need PK 13/14 because it's useless? Or atleast he can't tell a difference. Well he claims he's 85% sure that my girlyplant is infact a hermaphrodite or a male although I can clearly distinguish pistills and calyxes?? Even blue said that she's a girl but this fella is persistent?!! I need a few more educated opinions, please? Thanks for any help! Maybe I should take some sharper pictures?
