Do you have a PH meter?
Ideally you will want to check your feed PH before it goes in, and see what the PH is of the run off - then you can calculate the Soil (or medium) PH using this formula.

Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

1.5cl per 3 litres works out at 5ml per litre which at this stage seems about right. Keep an eye on your leaves, if they are yellowing (presuming you have your soil PH in the right range), then you need to up the feed, if you see the tips burn and turn yellow/brown, you should dial back the feed a bit.

PK 13/14 - I've used it on one grow and thought it helped. I;ve bought some more, but my good AFN buddy Mr Jorilla Ganjamoto has suggested that i might want to flush it down the toilet (lol). He is a big fan of Dutch Pro Explode as an alternative and judging by his results, It is very difficult to argue ^_^

Hi.

Yes, I have a pH-meter. I've got a much easier solution for measuring the pH. I read somewhere that the soil buffers the pH by 1. So if your runoff water is 7.5 then the soil is approx 6.5, that's what I've read anyways. Dunno if it works. I'd try the method you presented too... but with all this, I'm seriously considering going hydro. But that'll not happen right now. First off I need to buy my grow tent, some more lights and extra nutes etc. Oh, well... bed time. Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it! ...although it later showed that my "fem auto" infact was a dude. Not a hermie but a dude. So it's like this. My first seed didn't even grow. The 2nd seed germinated, grew a 1 cm root and then shrivelled up and died? Third seed you know all about. Wasted my time on a male plant. Dafuq? 3 fails out of 3 seeds. That's f**ked up, man. I gave the head shop a piece of my mind... but it's not their seeds, they don't even have a seed bank, they just sell seeds from various seed banks.

Funny part is that I got these seeds as a compensation in the first place. (for selling me a faulty product blatantly below par) Great compensation, huh? Oh, well... pretty much sums up my luck in this world. I'd be happy if I had the wind in my back for once, lol.
Tmro I'm ordering five Super Automatic Sativa seeds. Hopefully I'll have my grow tent next week. I really need it. Oh, well... bed time. I'm waaayyy past my bed time. Got work to do tmro. G'nite.
