Indoor My First Grow (Purple Jems/Ryder)

Has anyone here ever tried the nycd ryder? i heard that it packs a punch, and im looking for a strain that can make a substantial amount of back pain subside.


Well...unfortunately i think that i might have just found my first pair of balls on my biggest Jems.. Im hoping that im just jumping the gun and dont really know what im talking about. Will post pics on 4/16 to see if i can get sum help determining

Now i've never had to determine sex before, but im really leaning towards saying this is a male.

Well..Here we are at day 18 and unfortunately I have to report the passing of PJ#1. My hopeful female starting growing a very pronounced sac of balls. And he was looking so good.
RIP PJ#1 4/1/11-4/17/11 He lived a short life...but will always be remembered. :cry:

I will be posting updated photos of the other jems later on today or early tomorrow

On another note: I have also just planted 2 blue himalaya feminized afs to add to the mix as soon as they sprout. In an attempt to try to offset some of the PJ males that i plan to encounter And im going to give it a go with the tiered transplants that some of the better growers on here use. started them in little red plastic cups and poked holes around the bottom.

Update:

Well it has it has been quite some time since i have been on to update the journal, so here it goes. Im happy to let everyone know that I am now the proud owner of a beautiful girl in my PJ# 2. She is coming along very nice and full( i think) Today she turned 24 days old and I think she is about the right size.
Starting to smell nice and florally with a little hint of dankiness.

Didnt take any pics of the others but i also have two other females in the batch that i will take photos of at a later date. But they are looking nice...about 7-8 days behind the PJ#2.

Also I just took out another male and am going to chop him down today. I wish that i really knew what i was doing with pollinating because i would give it a try. But this round i am strictly focusing on trying to make it to the end of the grow successfully. Next time i will def. give it a go tho.

So that leaves the count to 3females and 2 males out of the five...well im kinda iffy about one of the fems but will know for sure within a day or 2.

Lookin nice and healthy jayboy! I definitely see some lil white hairs in that third pic! I'm pullin up a chair on this one... PJ's will be included in my first grow (if the seed banks get restocked in time!!). Good luck with them duder!

Thanks Kindredspirit... yea I really like how easy it has been so far. A little water here and there and voila. The only problem thus far has been seeing a couple of little flying bugs from time to time. but got some of those sticky yellow traps and that has pretty much taken them out of the sky. Yea.. I would def. recommend it based on what ive seen thus far. The banks haven't had it for awhile either.
I know that the actual breeder is on this site...maybe he'll have an idea on where to find sum. Thanks for stopping by

Its quite alright gearbear, nothing to exciting happening yet anyway! Other than getting my first ever girl!!
