If you have your fan blowing too directly on your plants...does it cause the outer edges to bend upward? Kinda like when the light is too close to the plants. Just wondering because I went in to wake up the plants this morning and a nice amount of the leaves that were directly in front of the fan overnight have that on the edges. My fan doesnt rotate because I have multiple little ones in the room.

There is such a thing as wind burn. I'd have to see some pics to say for sure.

If it's not affecting them growth wise. I wouldn't spend much time worrying about it.

Alright... Its not really a big problem right now at all. I've just not been able to find any pics online for wind burn. Was just wondering if I needed to switch up my setup a lil. It would probably be alot better for me to just find a small rotating fan to replace the 3 non mobile ones that I currently have in there! The plants have gotten a nice amount taller now, didnt really matter before when they were smaller.



After seeing my exact problem on another forum the conclusion i've come to is that my moisture levels are too low for the heat my 400hps is putting out. When I started my grow I used to keep the door closed with the humidifier on so the humidity level was a constant 45- 50%. But as Temps have raised a little Ive opened the door alot more letting out the moisture. Humidity has been around 20% lately. But I did think that you were supposed to lower humidity during flower.

So... Im positive that its not from wind now. I also saw that the outter edges curling might possibly be magnessium defficiency so I took a couple of pics to see if anyone could see what could be causing this. More and more seem to be doing this and temps are definitely not that hot 81 degrees with lights about 16 inches away.

Taken under lights so not the best. But some leaves are curling worse than these. Just took some quick pics.

P.S. It seems to be happening to all 4 plants.

That just means that the leaves are curling up to catch any water that they can get...
Just sprits some water on your plants when the lights go out(be sure to do it with lights out)or just keep the humidity at 30 or above...

Thanks NC420... I live in a very dry place would this light spritzing be okay to do pretty often? Say once every 2 days or every day?

My oldest PJ is starting to get extremely bushy and I was thinking that I should try get some extra light to the inside of the plant. The method I was thinking about trying was one suggested by Muddy. Drill the holes in the top of the bucket and tie a rope inside of there and attach the other end to the branches. Just wondering if someone has experience with this. Do you tie the rope to all of the branches and just pull it tight? Kinda scared I might break off a branch or something. Does pulling too tight cause stress to the plant?

Hey buddy, the method you're descriping is LST (light stress training). Don't worry, as long as you're not snatching the limbs down below 90%, you'll probably be fine. If you want to see something really scary, google "supercropping". This plant we love can take a lot more than we give it credit for sometimes.
