So i got a couple of those Hamilton Beach True Air Filters from a friend and plugged them in over the top of my grow area and I gotta say, they work great. The last few days my Blue Himalaya has been getting a nice sweetish good smell and these little things completely wiped out the smell. Obviously I haven't tested them for longevity, but these things are great right now. They have a built in carbon filter that seems to do a nice job for my small grow.

COOL! that's good to know. Small growers are always looking for things that work on the smaller scale that are easily availabel. thanks JEMman +Rep

Has anyone heard or tried out this stuff called Odor Out? I saw it at Target last night and took a picture but didn't buy any. It's made from vocanic rock, is 100% natural and claims to absorb odor, prevent mildew and bacteria, perfume free and reuable...looks likes it comes in a little pouch that you can just place anywhere, ie. shoes, closets, grow tents?

anyways, let me know if you think this will be any help with serious odors, something new i haven't seen before.

I used to use these filters next to my cat's litter box. It does the job, as long as you replace the filters regurlarly. Should be great for a small number of plants. good find!

Yea... I got about 8 replacement filters to go with it so hopefully it should get me through a little while. I actually have hear about the Odor Out on another site. Was hearing all of these rave reviews of ppl who's friends used it so they said they would give it a shot. Problem is, I never heard back from anyone who actually used it. I hear it kills a good percentage of the smell tho. Are those the ones you have to sit in the sun to re-activate it?

Yeah, it says it "recharges" after you leave it in the sunlight. I might pick up a bag to try it out. there is another variety, that is intended for the fridge, supposed to hold in moisture, keeping foods fresh and what not. Wonder if you could put a tiny piece in a curing jar if someone accidently quick dried thier weed and wanted to regain some of that moisture...just a thought, no science really behind my theory lol

Yea spelsylver, if you get em please let me know what percentage they knock out for ya, especially since you have the DR, really wanna know!

Mmm...orangy Purple Jem sounds delicious! I had no taste at all really with that quick sampler I took.

Boveda packs work well with that. Suggest the 65% as it maintains 60-63% quite well. If trying to rehydrate, use two in a jar. They will expel & absorb between the two of them, and in the process rehydrate your buds.
Another way - an old time stand-by - place an orange peel in with your jarred buds. Bud takes on a bit of orange smell and some say taste too. The smell I can attest too, but I never had the taste.

Bovenda packs? never heard of those but ill check em out! I've heard of the orange peel, i've also heard that method promotes mold growth if you're not careful but im guessing a small load is easy to maintain to prevent it...

Beautiful plants JEM:clap:
That is what comes to mind when I think of the JEM...
