New Grower My first grow

Hey everyone!

I just ordered an in line fan to bring cold air in to help battle the temps View attachment 431956

I'll be running it through the normal house/room vents but I'm worried about bringing in bugs, is there an ideal filter I could use?

:thank:

Hi Duggy,

Sorry for my late reply! I have solution in the post now, £9.99 for a set of 250ml 4.0 and 250ml 7.0

Just have to wait for Amazon's hide and seek postage

Jimm :tiphat: ...yeah, those skinny soil probes are all but useless,..I've tried and tested them too! The Accurate 8 should be available out your way...? It works on the same principle, but is far better made,.... Hmmm, your new pH meter should have come with a little packet of calibration solution, in powdered form, just add distilled/RO water,...(using other non-specific solutions like milk/coffee is a bad idea, don't care what the other dudes did,.. water science is something I'm well versed in, and simply put these are not reliable standards for calibration!)... calll the company and ask about this,... 7.0 soln. is what you want,... ***... I did see the odd yellowing on that newer growth, but can't make a call for sure on what that is,... usually, this is an immobile nutrient (meaning the plant can't pull it from other established tissues, typically from lower down, and move it up to support new growth), and so that narrows things down,.. but that symptom I see doesn't quit fit the usual suspects,... I'll look into it further, can't just now,... do you have supplement's with Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu in them? A Ca-Mg supp' too? ... ..check ya later bud,...!

Hi Waira,

I did look for the accurate 8 in the UK but couldn't find it, there is similar ones but the reviews for them are pretty bad..

I dont have any supplements yet, which ones will I most likely need?

"Munch..munch..munch Aloha Jimmann~
whew! That was suspenseful coming through those last several pages... I had to get caught up from back when you had to flush them and they got droopy and then...
"sun-worshiping-leaves"! or is it praying leaves? anyway, yeah those! :Cool bud:

I just found an Accurate 8 Soil Probe on Amazon because I decided I need one. I use to use the ones you have pictured here, and well, they are marginal (code for crappy, imo) at best. Give very broad readings and usually don't work for long. so... good for now, and then a great paper weight once your other one has come in!

Your plants look great! Way to hang in there and come through so green on the other side!

mega-green-mojo-vibes all the way

aloha

Hi Hapa,

I couldn't find the accurate 8 in the UK unfortunately and the alternatives have bad reviews :face: but I still need to have another good look.

They look good at the moment but as I said, there are couple which seems sad. I will being my update later so i'll show you what I mean.

The smallest (white widow) is finally starting to grow up so happy days
