SSSSOOOOOO CRAP! After talking with a buddy about what im doing, posting my house thread here on AFN. Due to paranoia and the good ol american government, i am not going to post pics of the build do to security reasons (yes paranoid but better safe than sorry.....right guys???)

So i am not going to close this thread but will continue to leave this open as a place for discussion about eco friendly alternative building techniques. I will verbally continue to update this thread the whole way unless by chance my state becomes legal and i dont have to hide like an outlaw anymore.

This weekend i burned out all the stumps in the area of the pad. Ill be leveling the pad this next weekend.

For years ive played with the idea of building a bunker to live in! Havent heard of earthbags til this thread. I like the ones built into the ground with grass over the roof. We just put an offer in on a house, but there is always the future!

Thats awesome SGA.......i would dig into a hillside in an instant! I would spend alot more money on the roof of course but i would love to have my own bunker house. LOL i would do it on a lot in a suburban neighborhood and be "that guy" Rows of houses and a 2000 sq ft lump in the ground with a mailbox!
