Hi, I got my hands on an old wardrobe...the dimensions are 53 inches high, 40 wide and 16 deep....so plenty of room to play around with!
A little bit of info on the wardrobe in case it helps. It's bug free (I sprayed it down), it has a shelf at the top with about 7 or 8 inches of height to work with (the dimensions given don't include it as it could be handy to store things and run wires through.
I live at home so the setup has to be as stealthy and inconspicuous as possible.
The wardrobe itself, luckily enough, has a lock on the door..so that helps with nosy people rooting through everything if I forget to lock my door.
So far, this is my plan, I've been reading non-stop for days now, it's time to here it from you guys yourselves if I've learned anything..
Feel free to correct me if something is wrong, I want to get this right:tiphat:
Soil: http://www.dublinindoorgardening.com/products/Bio-Bizz-Light-mix.html looks good to me! I might be able to find it cheaper locally, so if I can, I will.
Nutrients: http://www.dublinindoorgardening.com/products/Bio-Bizz-Bio%2dBloom-500-ml.html I've read about people using BioBizz on here with good results, will this suffice?
Lights: http://www.dublinindoorgardening.com/products/Ecolights{47}-Envirolights-125-watt-Blue.html (while the plants are growing) and then this for the flowering stage http://www.dublinindoorgardening.com/products/Ecolights{47}-Envirolights-125-watt-Red.html and a reflector http://www.dublinindoorgardening.com/products/Plug-and-Grow-CFL-reflector-single.html I'm not sure if they'll be strong enough. Please advise!
I keep reptiles as pets so my room is normally pretty hot at around 22Degrees (or mid 70's for the Americans!) which I've heard is a good range for MJ to grow in.
Misc: http://www.dublinindoorgardening.com/products/Mylar-(Silver{47}White)-per-meter.html this stuff is a necessity, right?
Seeds: Probably the most important part...
I'm stuck between this http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/green-o-matic-feminised.html and this http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/nl-automatic.html
If anyone would like to recommend a different strain then go ahead! I'm hoping one plant at a time will serve me well, this is just for myself and a friend to have a stash that hasn't been sprayed/laced in glass...the stuff I've been offered...
I'm not sure what size pots to use, for my first grow I used one pot for the whole grow...(a decent size one) the plant was a ''big bang autoflowering'' and it reached about 20'' before I chopped it down. Does that seem right?
Odor control....I don't know why but I don't like the idea of a carbon filter, the wardrobe will be in my room so I sort of need it to look as normal as possible, ducting and fans might not go down so well.
I was thinking of getting an ionizer and placing it near the wardrobe and getting some ONA blocks and putting them outside my room to remove any smells that manage to escape. (I've read they can ruin the taste of the bud so I won't be putting them near my plants, has anyone had a similar experience?)
I think that's it for now, please let me know your thoughts on this plan. Peace
J
