I decided to give FullDuplex's Soil mix a try. I would like to try coco coir in the next grow. then who knows maybe give hydro a try.

The beer pong was just way of getting the water in the pots through the screen. Is there a more suitable method of watering a scrog soil garden?

I bought a hose that fits over the spout of my watering can. That way you just hold the hose in one hand and the can in the other and water away. My screen is smaller though, 2x2. I like to keep the screen about 6-8" above the soil. That leaves me enough space to work below the screen and I can start training them early while they're easy to bend. You will have to try out what works for you.

Looks like you have a nice setup, good luck with the grow!

Thanks for the advice. My screen is adjustable so I'll go lower. Around the 6-8" mark as you suggested. This is my first attempt scrog so its going to be a learning process. But with solid research and advice from experienced auto growers, I should have a nice crop on my hands. Has anyone else used FullDuplexs soil mix for TD?

Well I got a predicament on my hands fellas, due to a family situation I'll be relocating to the east coast in march. now I have to decide if I wanna grow as soon my seeds show up .( hopefully this week) and then figure out an automated watering system for 2 weeks while I'm out of town for Christmas holiday, or hold off till march "Grrr" I don't wanna rush my grow, and I also don't want to drive cross country with my harvest. Any thoughts?

So here is my test setup of my tent, I am in the process of moving into my new apartment so please dont judge me about the horrible state of my apartment lol. I mentioned in my last post that i am moving from the west coast to the east coast in march to help my sister out while she is going through some personal stuff. that being said, i'm now in the process of moving into a new apartment out here for the next 4 months. I beleive i have almost everything i need for my grow ( co2 monitor), but i will be holding off (regrettably) until march. Right now i dont have the proper amount of time to grow these beautiful plants and give them my utmost attention :crying:. I wish the timing were a little better, and i wasnt going to have make a couple trips between coasts in the next four months. If you guys could please take a look and send any critiques my way. thanks again AFN

Looks like a nice setup duder, shame about having to wait but I suppose it is better than not being able to spend the needed time to grow properly. Best of luck on your move and sending some relocation karma your way. We will be here when you finally get everything up and operating.
