What's up everyone?
Ok well we found a place to live Woohoo! An Old house made into apartments about 100 ft from the Railroad Tracks.....lol.
But really it's not bad, rent is cheap and it's a huge apartment. Old house so all the rooms are pretty big. Heating might get expensive though.
We found it a week before we had to move. So that last week we had was crazy.
I had to take my son up to Chemo and then come all the way back home and do nothing but move us for a few days. Felt really bad leaving my son up there, but he's definitely old enough to be up there by himself, it's just I don't like leaving him.
OK NOW about how my son is doing.
He actually just started Radiation this last Thursday and so far it's been fine. He's still doing chemo and actually they started his next round of chemo with radiation. So we were up there from Thursday to Sunday.
He hasn't gotten sick at all since the one time, except this time he was feeling a bit sick, but he didn't vomit.
They took scans before they started getting radiation ready to see how much the main tumor has shrunk and how his lungs are.
The Tumor has shrunk 90%!!! And they can't find any of the big spots in his lungs except for one that is really small now. There are still small spots in his lungs, but nothing like before.
His main tumor has shrunk so much that the Dr has a hard time finding it when she feels for it; and it was about the size of a fist sticking out of his back hip (butt).
Soooo all is going great so far, but the Dr reminds me that this is still a very dangerous enemy (as he puts it) to deal with.
So just giving you guys a heads up. We found a place in the knick of time and my Son is doing quite well considering.
I can't grow at this new place, so that sucks, but this is just temporary. Can't wait to raise some girls again.
