Greetings all! Im pretty new here and I just wanted to tell you my story and why I love this plant.This community is great,so I wanted to share...
For the last 25years to some degree ive been having trouble with my knees (alot of sports when i was younger) and developed what was thought to be rheumatoid arthitis,still working 60hrs a week at the time.Doctors gave me pain meds and corticosteriods in cycles.I turned to alcohol for help and became a alcoholic...I would drink a fifth of whiskey a day at one point During this time my marriage of many years fell apart and lost my home,but still I continued to work 40-60 hrs a week and drink...
until last year about this time it all came crashing down and i landed in the hospital with stage 1 heart failure...I had literally ballooned with water..the doctors who examined me estimated i had 30 POUNDS of subcutaneous fluid accumlated in EACH leg.Blood pressure was off the charts and i didnt have a very good outlook,they wanted to hospitalize me and I refused...Gotta work right?Carried on with work as normal( yes it's true).I was affraid of the DT's...Affraid to quit the alcohol that had its death grip on me....but I quit and I started using marijuana for my knees,thinking If i could move better i could get more exercise yada,yada you know.And im telling you now and im not Kidding you I had litterally NO alcohol withdwrals whatsoever...Not a !@#*ing!!! one,I was Astounded,Amazed...really.I was able to drop a raging 10 year alcohol habit with the help of this plant.Not only that! since last year ive lost 150lbs and my bloodpressure has returned to normal...my knees,OMG my kness...they arent new but Ive since dropped nearly all conventional treatments now.ill still take advil from time to time...but no mare tramadol or prednisone or ANY MORE of that !@#!...this plant gave me my life back,It litterally pulled me from the brink.
My name comes from my best friend,a dachshund.Resinhound,I named him that because he loves the smell of this plant as much as I do
