Glad to see you have most of the problems sorted now man. Practice makes perfect as they say. One thing i would like to add that i read in an earlier post on your thread is... I see that you dont like to get run off because your worried you might flush out some microbes in the soil. I would advise that when you water you at least should let about 10% of that run out from the bottom of the pots. If you continue to water the way you are you have a good chance of getting root rot which also leads to a funny smell in the grow room. The reason for this is the plants roots need fresh water to feed but also this water helps push out any stale water that might still remain in the pot from last watering. All this also adds up to more fresh oxygen into the root systems etc.. Sorry dude im not trying to tell you what to do, its just some advice if you haven't started doing this already. Looking great man, keep it up.

Never be sorry for steering someone in the right direction. If it makes sence and someone needs to know tell them Not bashing anyone but on this site some people do not want to pass on info in case of stepping on toes. Sometimes a little intervention goes a long way keep up the great work.

Hey man, I hear ya, I do always seem to get some run off, but I water slowly and try to minimize it. I've been letting the pots dry out a bit more as well. I need air pots to be honest, these things take so long to dry. Thanks for the words of wizdom man, and thanks for catching up with my journal bro-much appreciated!

Morning everyone, quick update. I fed the SMR last night with some of the Growmore 7-7-7. Still yellowing of more leaves this morning, but will take a while to work, if that's what it's going to do! Found a store with some cheap bottled spring water so I'm going to pick up some for the AA while I wait for it to rain!

AA looks good, SOME yellowing of bottom leaves, but that looks more natural than the SMR. Could be lot's of reasons for the yellowing but if no signs of improvement tonight/tomorrow-I'll flush the SMR.

I NEED some more nutrients, I honestly think my BioGrow has expired, it's really think and gloopy, and I've had it almost a year, plus it's the OLD label on it, so how old it is I really don't know.

Buds are starting to fill out on AA and she is starting to glisten with trich production!

PS. this is probably going to gross a lot of you out, but I keep reading on organic gardening websites that fresh human urine is a super N rich fertilizer, so I mixed 1 part pee to 10 parts water and fed a little of that to the SMR!

We use to grow with urine and it was three parts water to one part urine it is amazing how it works for a nutrient. One thing though you cannot have liver disease though

It gets a little smelly but we would let it go stale and mix it with water fresh or not. Not one deficeincy did we see and dark green plants just as big as nutrient fed plants. The smell is what drove me away from doing it stale urine will make a grown man GAG lol

Thanks for the info FN, yeah I'm loving using my urine-heck it's free! I haven't used it in that ration yet, I have been finding my way and working up from 1:10, but already wow it turned my plants from pale green to lush dark healthy green. I will try upping the ratio some more next watering. About leaving it to sit, and this is purely what I've read, is that it is better fresh because the Nitrogen slowly turns to ammonia (which is where the smell comes from). I'm sure it doesn't matter too much being as though the NPK ratio is something like 11-1-3 or something I can't remember right now. But yeah, most ppl prob wont want to smoke my weed if I tell them I fed my plants piss, but that's all the better for me hahaha. I've seen in 3rd world countries, they have huge fields of crops that are fed human urine as fert all growing season...it's natures way!!

Anyhow, enough talk of bodily fluids, I took some pics this morning, looking real good, I'm letting them dry out a lot, not watered for 4 days now, they look and smell better than ever. I was going to take some inspiration from TaNgs new feeding schedule, little bit every day, but I just don't think that will work for me unless I have airpots, these normal pots I'm using don't dry out too quickly.

Really happy right now, they are looking sweeeeeeet!

You will adapt to the lack of drying If I grow in a swamp with pro mix I concentrate the nutes and feed lightly to the outer edge and get wicked results. The plants live in constant saturation but the vermiculite and perlite make sure air is always getting to the root ball You can drench professional mix and still get 50% air to the root ball. But this was done outside in dug out beds. The holes were full of water I filled them up with pro mix and grew amazing weeed

Hey thanks FN, really good of you to say. I've been struggling along for some time now, it's great to see my plants healthy looking finally.

I watered today as the pots were quite dry, I added E.Salts 1/2 tsp, Molasses 1tsp, Urine 100ml and some general organic food 5ml - per litre of spring water and they seem to be loving it. They don't smell too strong until I water them then they smell like cannabis lol.

The SMR has an awesome fruity mango aroma, while the AA smells piney and lemony, much like I remember a Haze variety to smell like. The AA doesn't have as much trich production as the SMR, it's further along but the SMR is a lot more frosty, :dunno:

The AA in the greenhouse is doing really well, funny how different outdoor plants look, really healthy though.
