New Grower Mycorrhizal Fungi (Friendly Fungi) for seedling root enhancement

Hi all,

Since recently popping a couple of beans, I've been doing a bit of research to see about increasing the speed/efficiency of root growth in very young seedlings.

Has anyone ever heard of / used Mycorrhizal Fungi to encourage root growth in seedlings? Have a link below with further info.

Sure bambud, lots of us use myco - it's a crucial component in organic growing. I use Great White myself, and in addition to adding it to my soil mix, I put a sprinkle of it in the pot where I'm planting the seed. Then I add some more every few weeks when I'm watering just to ensure that the microherd is flourishing. :gthumb:

Keep in mind that if you use synthetic nutrients you will be killing off the microorganisms in your soil, so it defeats the purpose of adding myco.

new grower here but yes, i've added myco fungi at the beginning, and every three weeks during my grow.

Great White mixed in soil and a bit at the bottom of the seed hole.

What if you put the myco right underneath the Rockwool cube where the roots are growing in an nft system?

I read somewhere that you could even put it in your res as long as it's aerated?

Not quite true bro. Voodoo, Tarantula, and Piranha work in Hydro and Orca the liquid version of Great White is made for Hydro

I haven't used to my self, I don't think its so easy to get over here. I used to watch Youtube videos of this guy called Hygrow Hybrid, I think his channel is a paid one now which sucks, but he used the stuff in his 50 gallon DWC bucket and his plants were huge, some of the biggest iv ever seen indoor.


From what Iv learnt you have to keep your system oxygenated all the time, iv seen people using Bio Filters in Organic RDWC, that stuff is crazy.
