Harvest & Curing NE1 ever water cure their bud?

As the title states, I am wondering if anyone has ever done the water cure. And if so, how did it turn out? Would you recommend it?

I tried it once, but I didn't refresh the water enough and it turned into a slimy mess.

so if you're going to try it, don't forget to change the water.

I know this is an old thread but I'll leave this incase someone wants to read it. Try this. Take a big pot, fill it halfway with water and bring water to a boil. Then take some bud and wrap it with paper towels. Now take some toilet paper and make a thick pad. Place the paper pad in the bottom of a large freezer/boiling bag making a bed to place the towel wrapped bud. Remove all the air and seal. With a clip attach a corner of the bag to the edge of the pot with the bag submerged in the boiling water. You may have to weigh the bag down by placi g a few butter knives in the bag. Also, as the Contents of the bag increases it may bloat. Simply vent the bag by poking a hole with a pin. Boil for 1 to 2 hours or until bud is dry. The 212 degrees will decarb the bud and evaporate the moisture in the bud. The paper will absorb the moisture drying out the bud. Water never touches the bud so flavor is intact and the thc is at its best. Enjoy.
