Hey everyone, nice to meet you all
I did ask along this line in the mars section, but wanted to ask further.... I have been using a 26" tall box with 2 125w cfls and lst the plants, with some success but also with failiures too.
I have seen mars hydro with an offer on the mars300/140w led, and was tempted with it.... i could create an area/box that is about 34" tall by 21" depth and width.
The questions are, would 34" be pushing it with the led (i would lst/train them) it would just be for percy so 2 plants in 1gallon/4litre pots. It was mentioned that 34" would be pushing it (with possibly 12" room from pot to light) If i trained them could i make it work or should i just stick with my cfls
The light ive seen for £55, where as 2 125w cfls are about £40 together (i need replacements)
What do you guys think? Stick with cfl, or try the led? im tight on cash and tbh the results ive seen with leds look great - is the main reason why i was looking into this led (and the offer that runs out soon!)
Cheers for any advice and a warm hello to you all!
