Need deficiency help please

:doh:Oyyy! ...even as an estimate, it's clearly waaaay too acidic in there...it explains the defc.'s too,...but I puzzle as to how it became so far off; hmm, not having ready access to RO/Di water is a pain,... and if you want to stay with coco, you'll need to get a small RO unit, like something for the aquarium fish hobby (I have one, small 24GPD output),... As I mentioned, coco is a different gig from soil, even the recommended flushing methods are different... it all ties to the unique CEC coco has, and the need for extra Ca in particular (homework for you!); the coco has a strong affinity for it, so it must be sated first, or the plant gets shorted, basically... Okay, here's what one source says about it: flushing soln. should be RO/DI water, pH to 6.0, with 150ppm of Ca-Mg + 150ppm of nutrients; check run-off ppm frequently, and stop when it's coming at at or near 300ppm/6.0 pH... So, what to do for you... a flush is needed for sure; what's the pH of your tap water? ...guess you'll have to improvise! You'll need at least 2x the volume of your pot, and should add 1/2 strength Ca-Mg to it, and about 20% strength of nutes,...test the pH after it all sits for a while, then start the flushing...test pH of run-off half way through and see what's happening,... around 6.0 is where you want to end up,... I'll ask other UK'ers about the Accurate 8... odd, that's it's not available over there,..

Cheers I will get on it when I get in tonight lol.
I think the problem comes from simply being over enthusiastic, when I joined a few weeks ago the plants were doing fine in need of a bit of CalMag. So off I went to get some and also picked up a ph pen! My feed was around 6.3 so since then I have been lowering it to 5.7 every time until the last few days. I guess as the plants were happy adding a bit of CalMag was probably all they needed but armed with my new bit of tech I jumped in feet first!!!
Oh well lesson learnt there I'll be sticking to small steps and learning to read the plant in future.
Ordered the Bluelab soil pen today, a bit pricey but should be a usefull tool to have around. Oh what's a bit mad is that if you ignore the yellow leaves they are progressing well, these DP plants can sure defend themselves.
Thanks again for the help so far..

Don't take the first bit of water that drain off. Let it drain a little before getting your sample. If your soil PH was in the high 4s your plants would have bright yellow centers in the new growth and the leafs would be dark green. Let me see if I have a pic of a plant that had low PH from a past grow because I have had this problem quiet a few times.

This was low PH I think the PH of the soil was around 5. Not the greatest picture but it gives you an idea.
