I have been trying for weeks to figure out how to set up a drip system for my plants which are in hempy buckets using coco and perlite. I am looking for something cheap that I can make using a 5 gallon bucket pump and like 1/4 line. I cant bring a water hose into my grow area. So I need something that I can use with a 5 gallon bucket.
I have 4 plants I need to water with this set up. If someone could give me a parts list where to get them and how to set it all you you guys would be amazing!!! Sorry I know I am asking for a lot but I just cant make heads or tails of all this stuff on ebay lol.

What is the reason you are wanting to use a drip system? the reason i ask.... if you only have 4 plants..., bucket bombing them shouldn't take much effort. Setting up a CORRECT auto mated system can be a pain, and you will probably have sometimes timing issues, blockages, flow issues. it takes a bit to refine..... Something quick and ez would be to get some Halo Hydro Rings connect them to a 1/2 line and join them all to one pump in a single rez thats on a timer you would still need to get some ball valves to control flow and test the output of each ring, to ensure all are getting the same amount of water..... But again more equipment more points of failure.

Drip systems are rarely set it and forget it, unless you are seasoned even then stuff can go wrong.

(4) Hydro Halo Rings http://www.nehydro.com/pumps/pump-accessories/hydro-halo-9-drip-ring/

Recycle Timer http://www.nehydro.com/timers/autopilot-analog-24hr-recycling-timer/
You would also need a way to tie everything together threw a manifold
http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Port-1-2-...341?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5af63300e5 THere is a closed manifold, just shut off 1 vavle, Run a half inch line to each halo ring from manifold can use the shut off valves to control flow restriction.
Also you would need 1/2 line

The is my first coco grow and Im still learning. I read everywhere that people use drip for coco almost like its a must. Honestly I just want to weed through all the opinions and get the facts. I have 4 coco 3 in hempys with perlite one in a smart pot and a dwc set up 5 gallon bucket. I am trying to find my favorite method. I used to grow soil only thinking it was gonna be easy but there are so many amendments and so much crap can go wrong im just not into it any more. Last run I did all soil but one that was a all perlite hempy that blow my mind!

my favorite is DWC hands down, i find it so ez for me, also i find it more efficient, its good you trying all these different methods to find what works best for you. Have a look at my Grow log its all DWC

i use a drip system with coco made my own drip rings i only run 2 plants at a time on it just botched another together this weekend not pretty but it does the job
