Problem: Slow growth, burning of lower leaves, burnt tips.

Medium: DIY Undercurrent, 40 gal system.
Feed:
Recirculating, GH 3 Part
1st week - 0ppm RO Water
2nd Week - 20ml GH 3 part, equal parts, 100ppm
3rd Week - 40ml Micro, 80ml Bloom, lucas formula, 300ppm
Strain: MSB Tropa de Elite Auto, from seed. 21 days today.

Climate:
Sealed room.
CO2 - 900ppm
RH 40%
PH 5.8 (steady)
Temp 26C
Water temp 19C
Platinum P900, 1M above canopy, 4 plants, Only veg switch. 24/0 light regiment.

Additional info:
Since starting them I've noticed only one was growing normally, all others were pretty slow and you can clearly see that they are stunted.
Its also noticeable some tip burn, but I am not sure because i've been running such low PPMs?

Is this really burn? Or maybe deficiency from RO water?

Actually, thinking about it , the edges rolling and canoeing seems possible light stress combined with low humidity? maybe the P900 too much for small space event at 1 meter high? any recommendations?

Hey dude i use thise same nutes when i run dwc. I just use normal tap water though.
I know the ppms sound low but some strains need very little in dwc.
Im not familiar with the lucas formula i use all 3 bottles.
But i would make a fresh res aiming for 200ppm at 5.9ph
Keep testing ppm an ph and see if it stabilizes.
I think the light should be ok at that height mate

It is really hard to get an accurate diagnosis with pics taken under the grow lights. It does not give a true color. I consider 300 ppm to be lower end for my seedling stage. I grow in peat based media with AN nutes. I am not familiar with an undercurrent system, so not sure if that is even close to accurate for you, but if it's helpful, this is my EC chart I use with great results.

Seedlings= 0.6 - 1.2 EC or 300 - 600 ppm
Veg= 1.2 - 1.6 EC or 600 - 800 ppm
Flower= 1.6 - 2.4 EC or 800 - 1200 ppm

I think I can detect some Mg def going on and possably others, but really need pics in natural or white light to really tell anything. Again, I can't tell if they are yellowish or not, but that fan leaf that looks "burnt" may just be the plant eating up the fans just to stay alive.

Hope some of this is helpful. Post some more pics not under the grow light and maybe more diagnosis will be possible. Good Luck.

Thanks for the input! I will shoot better pictures tonight and get back ASAP!

Cheers!

Ok, here some new pics under normal lighting for reference.

Those pics are much better @kunkgrow have you noticed any big fluctuations in ph? those damaged leaves look a bit like that when it happens.
Few of the others look a bit droopy but theyll grow through that- plenty of airflow in those buckets?
One last thing there are definate signs of magnesium deficiency (the leaves that have light green fading between leaf veins)
Do you use any calmag suppliment?
I know the micro from the 3 part is meant to supply all the micro nutes but i still need to use calmag along with those nutes.
If you havent got some i'd really recommend you pick a bottle up

Thanks for the feedback mate!
PH has been stable around 5.8. I've also made sure to check not only with my digital pen, but also with the GH drops just in case and it seems accurate enough. The pen also has been recently calibrated with 4 and 6.98 solution.

There is lots os airflow and bubbles on buckets. I also have O2Grow Electrolysis plate on the central rez. I was supposed to use only it and no air stones but without a DO meter I am not confident enough to do so. Its frightening to let the roots sit in the water without bubbles directly on the roots for some reason. Maybe I will move the plates from the central rez and put one on each bucket to allow for the roots to pick up those tiny bubbles directly instead of relying only on the re-circulation to renew DO.

I don't have any CalMag per se on hand, difficult to find where I live, but I've got CalNit and MagSulphate, yesterday I've added 20g of each on the system, my total system is 40gal, but since yesterday I am running half full to spare some nutrients and to aid the top of the roots there is a drip ring from GH water farm kit getting the solution from the bottom of the buckets and dripping down, so the dosage was 1g per gallon of CalNit and MagSulph. Is it ok ?

Not familiar with those products and the site is in a language i cant read.
If 1g per gallon is what the manufacturer says then use that as your base amount and if you see a def like that up it a little.
I would go 1.5 or 2g per gallon next time and keep an eye on the leaves mate

Actually, CalNit is juts 99% pure Calcium Nitrate and Magnesium Sulphate is just Epsom Salts.
Basically pure powders from what CalMag nutrients are made of.
