I don't know if it's a good practice, but this thread is about a photo-period strain. If I shouldn't be posting about a photo-period strain please let me know.

So, I need help to solve this problem.
Strain: Northern Lights
SeedBank: Sensi Seeds
Medium: Soil Biobizz Light Mix
Nutrients: AN grow A&B so far
Light: 250W HPS - Sunmaster

The problem started last week, with the older leaves being affected first. Now the problem seem to be spreading upwards. I'll leave here some pics...
Please help, I need to fix this... IMG_20160224_115349.jpg IMG_20160224_115412.jpg IMG_20160224_115432.jpg IMG_20160224_115811.jpg IMG_20160224_115824.jpg

Hang tight someone will be along to help you. Good job not wasting any time finding out what's wrong with her ! That's the key to successful grows, keeping a close watch and jumping on the first signs of a problem. I am pretty sure I'm not allowed to even guess as I'm not staff - I can say that you should get some answers today - and while you wait, recommend using the excellent visual diagnostic tool here on AFN. Best wishes ! The first link has awesome pictures for reference.

@Tetra9 your always allowed to help my friend. Your a valuable experienced member here. The only thread that's staff only is the one labeled staff only it's like a direct hotline.

Whats up @someparanoidguy first off welcome to afn. Your more than welcome to post here with your photo this time but I'll tell ya we just launched a sister sight that is photo plants give it a look around later. Your login here transfers over to www.potpros.net

Ok to the plant. Are you feeding a Cal-Mag suppliment? Under a 250 it's not exactly the most powerful light so the bottom leaves tend to yellow and die just due to lack of light but it looks like your plant could use a Cal-Mag suppliment as well. The faded spots in the middle of the leaves is usually an indication Because Mg is so mobile deficiencies occur on the older, or lower growth. Since there's not really a Mg suppliment alone a good cal/mag like general organics 0-0-0 should help. I seriously doubt the issue is with ph and soil since biobizz light and AN is a proven combo

The rest of the plant looks great

Hello and thanks for your help :D I have AN Cal-Mag, is that ok to use in my situation?
Thanks for your attention :)

Yes the AN cal mag will work but it has a higher N value than I like but it's good stuff just don't over do it. Being a photo it will probably handle it better than an auto anyhow

And the dying leaves? I think the problem is spreading upwards... it starts like the second pic, with the edges losing the green matter :s

I agree with Atrain calmag def with a 250w light yes lower older leaves will die anyway and lightmix soil biobizzs feeding chart says to add algmix anyways as poor nutrien in the soil hence (lightmix) my mum had the same problem with this soil I prefer the allmix

:toke: hey guys!
Well, I've seen this discoloring and wasting before, but couldn't pin down what was behind it for sure,... Mg defc. doesn't look quite like this, particularly the rapid wasting-- so fast there's still green in the tissues!

--typical Mg defc. symptoms,... no edge-in wasting, and the discoloring pattern isn't at all the same,... That said, checking the in soil pH would be wise,... do you have an in-soil pH probe, or just a meter? If the latter, follow this guide carefully, run-off testing isn't very good to begin with, too many sources of potential measurement error,... a pH reading will help narrow down the possibilities,...
