My only complaint is that the instructions are shit. They suck!

The instructions were probably written by somebody who spends all day every day doing that kind of lab chemistry. Folks around here may be able to shed some light on any parts that need demystifying. I generally feel that if you understand exactly what you are trying to achieve at every step chemistry is just like cooking (but please don't eat any of it).
