Need HelpPlease!! Yellow leaves with very purple stems

Thank you all for the kind words. My wifes cancer is why I started growing again. She was never cared for weed in the first 22 years we were together until she was rceiving 6 different bags of chemo a day and could barely walk, sit upright the next day let alone eat. I suggested she try a bowl to see what would happen (she used to get very nauseous from smoking before and didnt like it) since she was so sick whet could it hurt..... She smoked for the first time in almost 18 years and it was amazing. she was hungry again, her feet didnt hurt " as bad" from the chemo and she was smiling for a change. That was a year and a half ago and though she is still in the tail end of her battle she feels the smoking has definitlty helped tremendously . As far as the 6.0 PH goes , I was told 5.5-6.5 PH for autos so I figured in the middle was a good target. Guess I will go for 6.5. As I said I just started with autos a little over a year ago (grew "full season" in the islands for over 20 years ) since we moved to the mainland U.S. 2 years ago so my wife could be at a better cancer center for care. This is the first issues I had (this is my 4th grow with autos) and it was all due to not keeping up with calibrating my pen and could of started nutes a little sooner..,.. Lesson learned! Thanks again all !

Chemo is so hard on a person... :bighug:
I'm curious if you've tried edibles, or even RSO?
As for the pH range you were given, it's both right and wrong. Dipping into the 5's is more for hydroponics /soiless growing. I'm a confirmed sodbuster, and start getting nervous below 6.3 or 6.4.:d5:

Yes we tried the Simpson oil and she does some edibles we get from California. But smoking is what works best for her. Yeh I'm a soil guy so sounds like I'll stick with the 6.5......

:hula: Mahalo brudda! If you roll with soil, I highly recommend getting an Accurate 8 (Control Wizard products) soil pH probe--> :phsoil: long probe is the A8 model,... this is the best method for testing in-pot pH, no more BS run-off minkey f*cking with estimate and calculations! It's not expensive (about $50 or so) and if used properly will last a very long time and give plenty accurate readings,.. also has a built-in moisture meter too! Using this tool will help you make small pH adjustments to your feeds and water to help maintain the in-pot pH... :greenthumb:--prevention is SO much easier than cure!

Yup PH meter is a must saves big headaches . i started with the stupid drops and runoff OMG trying to match colors with my old ass eyes ...Forget about it lol Good luck.
:crying: Half the time I couldn't even tell how much liquid I had in the vial!
Waira and DAB are on it. To grow good meds, you need good tools. They don't need to be hundreds of dollars to suit your needs. Your first harvest will cover the cost. :peace:
BTW, between Waira and DAB, you've got sound advice from the best of the best. Food for thought.

I'm using a Milwaukee PH pen for water and nutes. But at such a low cost you have my interest in a Accurate 8 ...I'm going to check it out.
