Heres a picture of my 400w cool tube if u look at the photos below u can see how I have it ventilated.

The duct runs under my house, so basically I have my fan pulling air from the left side of the light directly under my house. The duct on the right side of the light runs through the sleeve to a hole on top of the tent.

( the duct on the right side of my light leads to a hole in the top of my tent shown here )

Ok guys here's where I need help....

Should I leave the right side of the light without duct to help air exchange???

I have an fan that blows air into my tent that looks like this...

So am I better off completely ducting both sides of my cool tube as shown in the first picture OR should I take all that duct off the right side so my green exhaust fan can pull air from the tent through the cool tube opening on the right side of the light?

Please help rep will be given for useful answer thanks guys

Fresh air should come from outside the tent and run through the light and out the vent in the top of the tent. You should then have aseperate fan bringing air from outide the tent into the tent and than a fan taking air out of the tent.:smokebuds:

Well I do have fresh air running from outside the tent through the light the only thing is my exhaust fan is right outside my tent pulling air through a hole in the top. I can feel the suction from the hole in the top so it seems to be working or do I have to but the fan on top of the tent?

So basically If u have a cool tube light u need 2 exhaust fans...one for the cool tube and the other for your tent?

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't there be a filter connected to one side of the cooltube then the fan sucking through the filter and light and send the disposed heat outside, you've already got your fresh air intake so all you need is some clip on fans to move the air around and job done, that's how I've always seen it done and that's how I had mine b4 I got my leds

He never said anything about a odor filter. Ok, you have a fresh air fan bringing air in.Then all you need is a blower drawing air from the tent, through the light and out the top of your tent. Then a fan that circulates air inside the tent,(clip fan).:smokebuds:

Indeed he didn't but at least now it has been brought to his attention if he didn't have one

So basicly I should leave one side of the cool tube open to pull air from the tent as shown in picture one right ? Or is that a step by step kind of photo?

Because I have no filter..
