New Grower Need some help

There really is nothing wrong with MG.:WTF: As long as you use the products as they are made to be used. MG has a seedling starting soil. The MG potting soil is way too :hot: for seedlings. Long ago before all the new nutrients came out for cannabis growing. MG was used by lots of growers. I've had great luck in outdoor growing using MG products. There just wasn't really anything out there at the time.

Flushing the soil 3x the container size may at this time put too much stress on your babies at this young stage. Cannabis is a hardy plant; but seedlings are babies not plants. Using MG soil in seedlings is like giving your 2 week old baby RED BULL.

1st time grower here and I used MG seed starting soil to start my grow once the seeds germinated and they seem to be doing fine 2 weeks in. Thinking on mixing it 3 to 1 with perlite and just run it as my over-all soil.

Im counting when seeds got wet. My lights are about four inches from top of tallest plant.

You may want to move your lights back, the lights don't need to be very intense the first few weeks. :peace:

So my one plant didn't make it. So I started another one today. I changed my soil. Now I'm using 3 parts peat soil and 1 parts permits. Let me know if that will do. I tried uploading some pics of my other plant but for some reason it's not letting me. It's doing ok. Not really growing upward. I'm getting a lot of leave but it seems like they are just stacking up on each other. So we will see what happens. I will post pics when I can. Thanks

The one that did survive looks nice and healthy Tony, hold off on feeding her for a few more weeks bro. I know it can be difficult being a new grower to not feed, but with the soil you have she isn't going to need any extra for a while.

As for your new peat blend, I don't know what permits is? With the peat you are now getting into the soilless side of things and are going to need to keep an eye on ph issues as well as nutrient issues. Keep a good grow log posted with weekly reports so we can assist along the way. Hopefully you have gotten a ph meter by now, you are probably going to need one for the peat grow. It will be a little more inclined to fluctuate on you than regular soil will. Best of luck bro!

Hey thanks a4. And it is perlite not permit. Dang phone.

Hey can u point me in the right direction on a ph meter. Don't have to much money. Thanks
