I'm doing autos for my next grow but I'm currently on my first grow of bag seeds and had a female start to hermie on me in week 6 of flower so I'm going to pull it and want to get as much out of it as I can. It was a stunted plant to begin with but came back in flower and started to get some decent buds. I'm assuming at 7 weeks buds are going to be a no go on smoking but I wanted to make some edibles and planned on buying bubble bags to extract some kief also.

First predicament is my grow tent is inside a metal building. My tent ls climate is controlled but outside the tent inside the metal building the humidity and temps get a little high so curing outside my tent will more than likely not be feasible. So can I dry inside my tent? Or when I chop my plant should I go ahead and decarb and cook everything right then?

Another question I had when using bubble bags and extracting kief do you need to have the plant material dried first or do you take fresh material after cutting it and toss it in the freezer without curing?

I need to get this plant pulled and just looking for the best way to harvest everything I can from it so it doesnt go to waste! It's all new to me so I'm still learning how it all works.

Hey there! Sorry to hear about your herm situation. It happens! It sounds like you may want to do a little research to narrow down your options and get a better understanding of what you are trying/wanting to do. Curing is for flowers you plan to smoke. I've never heard of curing weed for hash or edibles. There are basically three options. Fresh (often called "live") Fresh Frozen, and dried. Fresh frozen is when you freeze plant material right after chop and use it when you are ready to. Fresh, or live, is when you use bubble bags or press it right after chop while the plant is still "alive". Then lastly, there are people who dry for a couple of days and then make hash/edibles. Its all based on what you have available, what works best for you and your situation and what type of end product your making.

Oh ok that explains it some for me. My mind is scattered so it's been tough for me to try to figure things out lately. Seems like ivd been online searching non stop lately.

At 7ish weeks in flower would it be worth attempting to try to cure some of these buds? I wouldnt think they would have grown enough but it's my first time so I dont know. And if so could I cure them in my tent?
